It's a delight to continue our work with Urban Transitions Mission through the challenge. We encourage regional policymakers, impact investors, blended finance players, and data space operators to join forces in driving this vision forward. Data sharing and apps to plan adaptation and mitigation scenarios are essential in achieving net-zero, resilient, and inclusive urban transitions. Yet, building these digital infrastructures remains a significant challenge at a local level. Limited resources and fragmented investment opportunities for impact investors hinder progress. Bridging these gaps is essential to accelerate impact. The goal is to empower trusted solution brokers to provide cities and regions with cost-effective infrastructure and blended financing options. 🤝𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐔𝐬 & 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 As a collaborator, you are an integral part of X-Creation. During your weekly collaboration on a challenge (~2-4 hours, virtual), you work on the solution and as a co-creation team, take a step towards sustainable innovation. The journey will begin at your Inspiration Studio in March and end at Innovation Day on June 18. Are you still unsure? We look forward to an exchange at [email protected]. #xcreation #innovation #challenges #cocreate #solvetogether Giorgia Rambelli, Stephan de Haas, Norbert Pahl, Frank Ruttloff

🌟 #WisdomWednesday: Driving Innovation in Construction Technology 🌟 As a Doctor of Business and Strategic about Customer Relationships I’ve seen firsthand how embracing emerging technologies transforms our industry. Moving away from excel spreadsheets to paper-based communication to industry-specific solutions; in preparation for AI-driven analytics to Digital Twins. These advancements are reshaping the way we plan, execute, and deliver projects—making them more efficient, sustainable, and collaborative. One area that aligns with my passion for diversity and inclusion is how tech democratises access to tools and insights, empowering a wider range of voices in decision-making. Which is so important. This is the kind of innovation that builds not just better structures, but stronger communities. Do you agree ? What tech trend do you see making the biggest impact on the construction industry in the next 5 years? #ConstructionInnovation #LeadershipInConstruction #DiversityInTech #FutureOfConstruction #diversitycarol

Last month, I attended the CRE Tech NYC, where I gained invaluable insights about innovation and growth in the real estate technology space. Here are some of my key takeaways: 1. The Power of the 3D’s: Documents, Data, and Dialogue From Phillip McCorkle, I learned the importance of companies adopting the 3D approach to capturing information. By integrating Documents, Data, and Dialogue, organizations can retain critical knowledge and unlock its full potential through AI in the future. It doesn’t matter where you work—every company should strive to build a digital ecosystem to ensure information is preserved. If employees move on, knowledge shouldn’t leave with them. Questions for management to consider: Where is the intellectual property stored today? How much of our information is digitalized? How interconnected is our data, and are we leveraging it effectively? Can our organization access and utilize the data in meaningful ways? 2. Not Every Investor is "Your" Investor Daniel Dart offered a powerful reminder: Focus on investors who believe in your vision and let go of those who don’t. Raising capital is not the hardest part—delivering on your promises and paying back your investors, plus their preferences, is. Always prioritize the right partnerships over short-term gains. 3. Small Changes, Big Impact Manish Kumar shared fascinating insights about the impact of minor interventions. For instance, simple lighting adjustments can reduce energy consumption and operational carbon emissions by up to 45%. This underscores the importance of even small sustainability initiatives in driving meaningful change.
