Dr. Li Jiang ,director of Stanford AIRE program, on his curiosity about the future of education. Key pointers - 1. We really learn about our abilities as humans and of AI/robots. 2. Creativity (still) belongs to humans. So, impart design thinking as a way of solving problems and innovating to bring out the best - "All design is redesign" 3. Let kids engage with AI to solve problems today and find ways to evolve them in the educational setup. It's clear, the current day education system MUST evolve. #futureeducation https://lnkd.in/gtYxfWTd

It’s now been over a year since generative AI started punctuating every conversation about the future of education and work. What excites me most about AI isn't the technology itself. It's how it’s empowered and unleashed unprecedented levels of innovation for students and educators – regardless of background. Check out some of the most exciting work from Arizona State University that’s embracing AI to amplify our creativity, support continuous learning and tackle our biggest barriers to access and equity: https://lnkd.in/gRaxnyaM

🌟 Thrilled to have participated in the Think Education conference by Google in São Paulo, Brazil! 🇧🇷 It was a distinct honor to share the stage with Peter Norvig, one of the grandfathers of Modern AI thinking. Peter's long-range view of AI provided profound insights into the future of education and beyond. He highlighted AI's role in augmenting human creativity, enhancing problem-solving capabilities, and fostering innovative thinking - and also - why AI development cannot be slowed down. His emphasis on ethical AI and the need for human-centric design resonated deeply with me. This experience reinforced my belief in the transformative power of AI and the importance of preparing for its future impacts. Looking forward to integrating these insights into Thinque's work and continuing our journey of decoding avant-garde ideas that inspire meaningful change. #ThinkEducation #Google #AI #PeterNorvig #Futurist #Thinque #Innovation #FutureTrends #DigitalTransformation #Education #AIethics

Ever think about how AI is like electricity in the modern world? I found some amazing ideas by the AI genius Kai-Fu Lee that really blew my mind. 🤯 Think about a world where AI does more than just do math. It changes businesses, drives innovation, and even tailors education to help us reach our full potential! But there's a catch: being powerful means being responsible. It's about privacy, job stability, and making sure that technology brings people together instead of separating them. There is a fine line between growth and danger, and we need to get it right. You can think of AI as your co-pilot as you navigate the complicated world of the digital age. It would make life easier, work more efficiently, and learn how to take you on a personalized trip. What are the chances? It's endless. It's time for a big change in the way we teach. Kai-Fu is right when he says that instead of teaching students how to take tests, we should be raising students to be critical thinkers, creators, and empathetic individuals. AI can do boring jobs automatically, which gives teachers more time to teach these important skills. How does this affect us? To prepare the next generation for a world with AI, we need to support and fund school systems that put these skills first. So, what do we do in this world where AI rules? Time to rethink schooling, encourage creativity, and get ready for a world where AI and humans can live together peacefully. Have a conversation! What changes do you think AI will make in your field? Tell us what you think below! ⚡✨ #AI #News #FutureOfWork #EdTechRevolution https://lnkd.in/d9MSgRMn

We are about to start our webinar – 10 𝐌𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐬 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐀𝐈 𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. One myth that we will cover is related to how AI will exacerbate the digital divide. At Moxie (Academic Insight Lab), we believe that AI holds potential for democratizing education if students are provided access and learn how to use it appropriately. 🔗 Register to receive the recording: https://lnkd.in/ecFxwSaH

5moInteresting idea. What questions is it able to handle? It answers "Sorry I couldn't give you better help, I am just a prototype!" to every question that I've asked.
