The EPS industry continues to expand opportunities for and access to recycling. The investments in infrastructure and awareness in recent years are driving improved performance. The insulative and protective attributes of EPS are complemented by its sustainable benefit as a low GHG (under 10), low energy and water consuming material that outperforms alternatives in 90% of LCAs.

We are committed to delivering solutions in the fight to end plastic pollution. In the past three years, TNO has developed a physical recycling technology based on dissolution capable of polyolefin recovery from metallized multilayer waste.
