The most successful projects typically create their brand and a twitter account and generate interest throughout the competition and I highly recommend you do this 4. If you are building a business with ambitions of founding a company and being invited into the accelerator make sure you know your customer, distribution and monetization strategy 5. Start thinking about your presentation and demo as early as possible , as this is the first thing the judges will see. 6. Don’t over index on code and just get that MVP out the door. 7. Reach out to peers and other founders to get signal if your idea has legs and would likely be something investible I’ll continue to share insights, but for now just go signup for the Colosseum platform. Not yet, but they’re already launching another MVP quickly. 🚀 I saw this founder continuously seek his users’ actual needs and iterate until the value was clear. He added 1 focused feature at a time, each part supported the main idea. Now, the platform is completely different from what I discussed 3 years ago.. And it is starting to gain traction.

Last week, I, together with Daiana Marculescu and Zoe Seccull, spent an incredible week during ETHcc in Brussels, where we had the chance to share SunDAO Ventures vision and progress, and the response was overwhelmingly positive. Upon return to Aus, here are some of my key reflections 1. Innovation Everywhere ETHcc was a melting pot of ideas and innovations. From ground breaking DeFi protocols to advanced interoperability solutions, the creativity and passion in the community were palpable. Many sessions highlighted the importance of modularity and interoperability, It was heartening to see the growing interest in the Interchain ecosystem.   2. Connecting with the VC Community: Investor community are super active during the EthCC week. I had the pleasure of attending some exclusive VC events hosted by top VCs and industry leaders. We discussed the current investment landscape, shared SunDAO's vision, and explored potential collaboration opportunities. 3. Modular Summit: One of the highlights was the fireside chat, "How is the App-chain Thesis Different Between Ethereum & Cosmos Ecosystem," featuring Vitalik Buterin and Ethan Buchman at the Modular Summit. This conversation was particularly enlightening and underscored the fundamental differences and synergies between Ethereum’s L2/L3 rollups and Cosmos’s appchains as well as design choices.   4. Nebular Summit Investor Dating Event Another key experience was the Nebular Summit's investor dating event. It was a great experience meeting some amazing startups and builders in this space. The insights gained from these discussions will certainly help shaping SunDAO's strategy and enhance our ability to support early-stage crypto startups.   It was a very busy but fulfilling week. I am excited to implement what we’ve learned, continue building strong partnerships, and support ground breaking projects. SunDAO Ventures is poised for an exciting journey ahead, and I can’t wait to see where it takes us.

Last week I moderated a panel on "VC's insights of investing in crypto"! Short recap of what stand out the most for me: 🚀 95% of crypto projects may not survive the next year -  Harsh, but true. 💼 Many startups overlook one critical aspect: business models. Too often, it's defined "later," once the project is up and running. 📊 Startups invest heavily in growth hacking and marketing but fail to track KPIs or measure success effectively, resulting in pointless spending. 🎯 Understanding the target audience? Rare. Establishing feedback loops? Even rarer. 👥 When asked to choose between team, tech, or scalability, most VCs picked the team — emphasizing the power of people behind a project.
