Workaway’s Post

Why travel you ask? Well, because it's fantastic for our brain too🧠📈👀 // 💡Travelling means you'll be going outside of your social comfort zone. When we enjoy an interaction with someone for the first time, our brain releases dopamine, which makes you feel good and encourages you to pay more attention to the information you’re hearing! 💡Going somewhere you don't know the language well means you'll probably be picking up new words and phrases in a second language, which can improve general intelligence and reading abilities as well as improving memory. 💡When you're not familiar with your surroundings, the change in environment helps train up your cognitive flexibility as you’re improving your brain’s ability to deal with problems, and putting your memory skills to the test.
