💼 Let's break barriers and rise up together! 💼 Did you know that women of color remain significantly underrepresented in leadership? As of 2023, they hold just 5% of executive roles, and in management positions, Black and Latina women each represent only 4.3%, while Asian women hold just 2.7%. Furthermore, for every 100 men promoted to management, only 73 women of color moved up. This disparity limits opportunities and hinders inclusion and equity in leadership. 🚨 This is why mentorship matters. By lifting each other up, sharing knowledge, and opening doors, we can collectively create more opportunities for women to advance and be more empowered. 🤝 Do you know a woman who mentors others? Tag them in the comments—we’d love to connect! 💬👩🏽🤝👩🏾 #WomenWithoutLimits #WomenSupportingWomen #BreakingBarriers #MentorshipMatters #DiversityInLeadership

Throughout history, women have been underrepresented in leadership positions, creating an imbalance of power and a lack of diversity in decision-making. Increasing the representation of women in leadership roles is crucial to creating a more diverse and inclusive society. To achieve this, it is essential to create more opportunities and support systems that enable and encourage women to take up leadership roles and make their voices heard. By doing so, we can create a more equitable and just world that benefits everyone. #womenleaders #womenleadership #leadership

“Women Are Finally on Top in Creative Agencies…” Sadly, This Statement is Still False. It’s 2024, and yet women in creative leadership roles are still shockingly rare. Why? The barriers—misogyny, lack of mentorship, and systemic biases—are VERY real and persistent. I founded Goblin Creative to be different—a space where women lead with confidence, where creativity and leadership are not hindered by gender. 💡 Advice: Don’t wait for a seat at the table. Build your own table. It’s time for more female leaders to step up, break through the glass ceiling, and reshape the industry. Who’s ready to join me? #WomenInLeadership #Diversity #CreativeAgency #Mentorship #BreakTheBias

Women often face discrimination and marginalisation due to the complex interplay of their gender with other social identities such as race, class, sexuality, and disability. These unique challenges and barriers impact women in various aspects of their lives, both personally and professionally, including leadership opportunities. The ILSS Emerging Women's Leadership Program (EWLP) recognises the significance of addressing intersectionality in supporting women's leadership development through an empowered gender lens. The EWLP is a celebration of women from diverse backgrounds and identities coming together not only as participants but also as faculty, uniting on a single platform to exchange ideas, insights, and opportunities, sparking inspiration and learning. The Emerging Women's Leadership Program is carefully crafted to equip women with the knowledge, tools, and easy-to-use frameworks to effectively respond to and confidently navigate systemic barriers to leadership. Through mentorship, skill-building, individual development plans, and networking opportunities, the program aspires to create a tribe of potential women leaders who are deliberate, passionate and committed in creating inclusive and supportive environments, advocating for equity and representation in the workplace for themselves and others. Progress vs. Underrepresentation: Are we sponsoring women? ⚖ Significant progress has been made in women’s representation in the corporate world, however women, particularly women of color, remain underrepresented across the corporate leadership pipeline. Mentors and sponsors are essential for promotions. But often we find only mentorship without sponsorship. Sponsors are essential, they tailor roles to leverage our strengths, inform us of new opportunities, advocate on our behalf, and help us overcome barriers we may face. The question is, are they striving for diversity? 💎 Mentors offer guidance 💎 Sponsors take active action Let's change the narrative. Are you ready to become a sponsor of diversity? Are you ready to change history?💡
