There’s a lot to consider when it comes to choosing a private jet 🛩️ SPEED, COMFORT and COST are some of the first things that come to mind, but equally important is RANGE. After all, wouldn’t stopping halfway through your journey to refuel kind of defeat the purpose of flying private? If you’re regularly flying halfway across the world, something like an Embraer Praetor 600 or Gulfstream G500 just won’t cut it. You could go with a VIP-configured Boeing 777 or 787 Dreamliner, but not everyone wants something that big. For these travelers, Bombardier offers the Global 7500. With four separate living areas and a range of up to 7,700 nautical miles (8,861 miles), this is the largest and longest-range option in the business jet category — a tad farther than the Gulfstream G700. It can connect almost any two points of the globe, including New York to Hong Kong and Singapore to San Francisco. It has even flown from Sydney to Detroit before — a route that’s 8,225 nautical miles long! #privatejet #flyprivate #bizav #bizjet #bombardier #global7500 #aviation #luxury #luxurytravel #businessjet #privatejetcharters

The origins of private aviation date back to the early 20th century when affluent individuals began utilizing aircraft for personal travel. Early private planes included notable examples like the Wright Flyer, owned by Orville and Wilbur Wright, as well as the Curtiss JN-4 and the Fokker F.VII. Although these early models lacked the sophistication of today’s commercial jets, they laid the foundation for modern private aviation. In the 1920s and 1930s, private aviation grew with the rise of aircraft manufacturers and innovative designs. The 1950s and 1960s marked a turning point with the advent of jet engines, leading to the debut of the first private jet, the Learjet 23. #privateaviation #history #learjet23 #wrightbrothers #historyofaviation #flywithbookmyjet #history #aviationhistory #avaition #privateaviation

When it was introduced in 1996, the Gulfstream GV (or Gulfstream V) was, as Business Jet Traveler calls it, "the first true long-range business jet". In the early 1990s, the Gulfstream V (GV) was developed as a response to the Bombardier Global Express. It was certified on April 11, 1997. Capable of flying up to 6,500 nmi (12,000 km), it rolled out in 1995 and was Gulfstream's first ultra-long range business jet. At sea level, the GV can take off in just 6,110 feet of runway—impressive considering it has a payload of 6,600 lbs. and a maximum takeoff weight of 85,100 lbs. It can climb to 37,000 feet in just 18 minutes, and with a maximum operating altitude of 51,000 feet, pilots are able to avoid air traffic and inclement weather. 📸Photo context: 𝑮𝒖𝒍𝒇𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒎 𝑨𝒆𝒓𝒐𝒔𝒑𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝑮-𝑽. ✴️Supersonic Passanger Airliner Two decades after the retirement of the Concorde ,When we think of supersonic passenger air travel, most people will think of Concorde, the joint British & French design which operated from 1976 until 2003 and up until this day, has been the only long term supersonic passenger jet service to operate 🔹New Supersonic flight is preparing for a comeback with the same argument the iconic jet used The Boom Overture is a proposed supersonic airliner under development by Boom Technology. Its design will be capable of traveling Mach 1.7, with 64–80 passengers depending on configuration, and 4,250 nmi of range. The Overture is planned to be introduced in 2029 ♦️Supersonic Passanger jet history 🔸Did you Know that The Russian Tupolev Tu-144 was the first commercial supersonic transport aircraft (SST) which had its first flight 2 months before Concorde on 31st December 1969 The other two American designs are less well known Two designs, one from Boeing and the other from Lockheed Lockheed L-2000 and Boeing 2707 The Boeing 2707 was an American supersonic passenger airliner project during the 1960s. The Lockheed L-2000 was Lockheed Corporation's entry in a government-funded competition to build the United States' first supersonic airliner in the 1960s. The L-2000 lost the contract to the Boeing 2707, but that competing design was ultimately canceled
