The most successful HR immigration and GM leaders I work with are super effective at centralizing their processes internally and with vendors. One standout example is a client I work with who runs an immigration program at a management consulting firm with multiple offices nationwide. They centralize everything through a single point of contact, ensuring uniformity and consistency across all their immigration cases. Each case starts with a call between the foreign national employee, the HR immigration leader, and our firm to make sure everyone is aligned on the process from the beginning—whether it’s for a temporary work visa or a green card. Leaders who centralize and emphasize clear communication from the outset experience smoother, more efficient immigration processes for their teams and employees.
