ubitricity to take control of 1,250 EV charge points across Westminster 🔋🔌   Westminster City Council have appointed ubitricity to maintain 1,250 chargepoints across the borough.   Awarded via a public procurement exercise and building on from a previous 12 month contract with Westminster, this fantastic win will enable ubitricity to further support Westminster and their residents for a minimum of 3 years.    Our tender was successful through ubitricity’s commitments around network availability, data consolidation, customer service, continual improvement and fair and equitable tariff setting.   After meeting with Westminster City Council last week, ubitricity’s CEO, Daniel Kunkel commented: “Westminster is a leading council in providing convenient EV charging to their residents. We’ve been working with Westminster since 2017, overseeing the delivery of Westminster’s network of EV charge points under the GULCS scheme, and we are thrilled to now also provide maintenance and continuity of service to the borough and its EV users”   Further, Councilor Paul Dimoldenberg , member for City Management and Air Quality commented: “We’re incredibly proud to continue to host the UK’s biggest and best network of nearly 2,500 EV charging stations that make a fantastic difference in helping our residents and businesses to keep the air clean, transport sustainable and contribute to the city’s 2040 net zero targets.”
