👋 Meet Nina Deila, the documentation manager who balances her time at Westermo with her own business Deila & Dåtiden, offering historical guided tours in Västerås. Nina loves to share the city's history and proudly brings the past to life through her guided tours. I also manage product pages with downloadable files like documentation, photos, illustrations, and certificates. 🔹 𝐃𝐞𝐢𝐥𝐚 & 𝐃å𝐭𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧, 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧? I've been a tourist guide since 2004. In 2017, I decided to develop my own tours and incorporate historical clothing to enhance the experience. Starting my company was a fun challenge. I learned about company setup, web design, social media, and bookkeeping. It's been a journey of personal development. 🔹 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐝𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬? Time management is key. My regular job comes first, then my business. And as my business have grown, I have recruited guides to help me with the tours. 🔹 𝐖𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐨'𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐊𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧, 𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐚 𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲, 𝐬𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞, 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭? Yes, that´s right! Sometimes I get special historical assignments at Westermo, like finding historical photos of our office building and Kopparlunden for wallposters or other creative material. Recently, I’ve been asked to briefly write the history of Kopparlunden for our external visitors that ask about this building and the neighborhood.
