Walking with Unhindered Faith

4 Ways to Face Your Giants: Day 2 – Use What You Have How can you face a giant when you don’t have the right tools? "Then he took his staff in his hand, chose five smooth stones from the stream, put them in the pouch of his shepherd’s bag and, with his sling in his hand, approached the Philistine.” – 1 Samuel 17:40 (NIV) Often when we face Giants in life we feel unprepared and not equipped with the right tools to conquer the giants. So how can you face a giant when you don't have the right tools? David didn’t wear armor or carry a sword, but he wasn’t empty-handed. He used what he was familiar with – a sling and stones. God can use whatever we have, no matter how simple, to bring victory. For example, you might feel underqualified or unequipped to deal with a major problem, like starting a new job or repairing a broken relationship. But just like David, you can use the gifts and resources you already have. It’s not about having the best tools but allowing God to work through what’s in your hands. What skills or resources do you already have that God can use? Instead of focusing on what you lack, give what you do have to God and trust Him to work through it. Your “small stones” may be what God wants to use to bring a breakthrough. #UnhinderedFaith #FaceYourGiants #UseWhatYouHave #DavidAndGoliath #GodProvides #Overcome
