This last weekend, Daylight Savings arrived. While we miss the hour of sleep we lost, we all have something to look forward to as the seasons change. We asked our Team what they're most looking forward to this spring. The answers? As bright and varied as a Spring garden. Ashley Rocha can't wait to leave work while the sun's still shining. More daylight after work? Yes, please! Tianna Mosby, MBA Mosby is all about the warmer weather, bringing out those sunny emojis. Marta Figueroa looks forward to gardening and trail walks. There's something magical about reconnecting with nature. Ryan Hill? He's working on his tan, ready to soak up the sun. Emma-Jo Tanzillo plans more roller skating sessions. Longer days mean more play! Jason Boyd is excited about growth, watching the environment come alive. Andrew Filar 🚀enjoys evening walks to decompress. The longer days make it even better. Hunter Schneider's Spring is all about golf after work. Michelle Knapp loves opening windows for the breeze. She also loves exploring waterfalls and bright Spring colors. And Conner Rush? He's just happy for consistently warm days, a true Midwestern delight. Finally, Moe Alkanani can't wait to enjoy the outdoors without freezing. Spring thaw, here we come! At Peachy Insurance, we embrace the changing seasons with open arms. Our team's diverse interests reflect the vibrant, inclusive culture we cultivate. What are you looking forward to this Spring? After the disappointment of the mountaineering holiday being cancelled, I made a point of planning some things to look forward to and set some work targets for things to complete before a 'proper' holiday. The week I originally booked off, I used to work largely on an exciting new work project and booked a couple of long weekends to get some R&R through the summer. This weekend just gone we enjoyed a camping trip on the beautiful Norfolk coastline and re-filled my cup using just two days leave. (Glad to deflate the airbed though!) How do you use your leave to keep on top of your well being and mental performance? Big chunks of leave? Short regular breaks? Bit of both? #wellbeing #mentalhealth #performance

On the last leg of the journey, to an adventure. Well, last train leg anyway. (see a flash of #LochLomond) Then for the next few days we are very much ALL THE LEGS as we'll be walking the Great Glen Way. (Followed by a few restful nights in a cottage for #recovery) Adventure has always been an important part of my business development strategy and supports my commitment to my own wellbeing too. OK, so a wild hike across Scotland for 5-6 days isn't everyone's idea of a break. But as Ive passed the changing landscape away from Leeds and finally into the wilds of Scotland I'm already feeling almost-horizontal with relaxation at the site of the snowy topped hills and lochs. Not only do these sort of things give me a restful (OK semi restful) break. They also give me the time and head space to reflect and explore ideas. With a new perspective and little to distract. It's not so much as switching off; As tuning in. Tuning in to family time and connection. Moments for myself of course. But then, in moments of wandering. A few steps ahead. I can allow all sorts of things to digest and process. Ideas form, all in the calmness of my wandering, pondering mind. The trek itself (a 79 mile route with extra on foot exploring each day) meets me with excited trepidation. Reminding me of the general awesomeness of a mind and body adventure. Deeply connected with Nature. Helping me find all sorts of answers. And questions too! Does anyone else use walking space as a "Tuning In" time for business too? I'll be back on the other side, perhaps with some new insights and inspiration too! #CoachingInNature #AVeryLongWalk #Scotland #NatureConnection #NatureBreak #MentalHealth #WildWellbeing #PurposeLedBusiness

Yes. I have a year-round holiday tree 🌲. It helps to create the vibe I want in my home so I feel nurtured and able to easily step into my work. Your environment is SO, SO important. And it's one of those unsung heroes that easily plays in the background and goes unnoticed - while everything is going well. When the vibe feels off, your energy feels low more often, or you're noticing that you feel more distracted lately - check-in with your spaces (car, office, bedroom, bathroom, living). Is all well? Is a cleaning and sorting session needed to calm the chaos? Would something silly and whimsical like a year-round holiday tree lift your mood? Take the time to ask what YOU need. And follow through. Only you can create your successful life.

Ever wondered why decluttering and organising your home is worth the time and effort? Let me share a personal story with you... On a recent Saturday morning, I received a last-minute invitation from friends to hike to see a frozen waterfall. This type of opportunity does not come up often! With only 30 minutes to get ready and still in bed, I thought it might be impossible. But thanks to my decluttered and organised system, all of my camping and hiking gear is stored neatly in labelled boxes. I was able to gather everything I needed quickly and be out the door on schedule. The hike was fantastic and look at this amazing frozen waterfall that I got to witness. This was certainly a reminder to me about how an organised life can give you the freedom to seize opportunities and spontaneous adventures. And that’s not where the benefits end! Imagine… 🤔 Reduced Stress: Knowing exactly where everything is can significantly reduce daily stress. No more frantic searches for keys or important documents! 🤔 Improved Productivity: An organised environment enhances focus and productivity. With everything in its place, you can tackle tasks more effectively and efficiently. 🤔 Enhanced Well-being: Clutter can have a negative impact on your mental health. A tidy space promotes a sense of calm and well-being, helping you feel more in control. It’s worth investing the time and effort upfront to declutter and organise. The rewards are a smoother, more enjoyable, and less stressful life. If you're ready to experience these benefits but need a little help, check out my range of services or send me a DM #DeclutterYourLife #OrganizedLiving #MindsetMatters #HomeOrganization

A 20-minute walk, daily, during lunchtime, whether alone, with a colleague, a friend, or a partner – whoever is up for it. Embrace that mini break! Scientific research has proven time and again that stepping away from the monotony of work and immersing yourself in some much-needed fresh air can significantly enhance productivity compared to remaining seated for hours on end. Just as staying hydrated throughout the day is beneficial, so too is incorporating regular breaks and walks into your routine. You're likely familiar with the benefits, but are you willing to make it a consistent part of your schedule? Perhaps a looming big project is devouring your time, but let me assure you, this small investment in taking a stroll will yield significant returns. Would you care to join me for a walk? Maybe we can opt for a peaceful, quiet stroll. I even offer walking sessions in silence. When was the last time you experienced complete tranquility? Let's seize this opportunity together. https://buff.ly/3wiWVP0 #foresttherapy #smallmomentsofcalm #natrueconnection #naturelover #metime #nature #natureseekers #Outdoorlife #getoutside #wanderer #Important #mentalcoach #mindfulwalk #nostress #forestbathing #goingoutdoors #expatcoach #coachingoutdoors #coachingexpats #expatsthenetherlands #natureconnection #thenetherlands #Expatsutrecht #amersfoort #utrecht #coachontheroad #outdoorlifecoaching #outdoorcoaching #Walkingcoach

We all know the importance of balancing work and family time. But, how many of us are running light on athletic/physical activities? Regular physical activity can enhance your work and family time. It can increase productivity and benefit both the body and mind. In this age of endless streaming channels and doom scrolling, we should all set aside time for physical activity. Yours could be running, walking, gardening, hiking, pickle ball, whatever. Personally, my productivity is highest when I do at least two sessions of my favorite sports during the week. Plus, physical activity can be combined with friend/family time. While it's harder for some to find time due to work and family obligations, you'd be surprised at the time you find when you turn off the TV, put the phone down and reserve time on your calendar for the outdoors. For those with physical ailments, even regular outside walks or just airtime can help. Active time will look different for everyone. Hate to say this, but get out there and "just do it". Your body and mind will benefit in more ways than you can imagine.

#healthAtWork #sport #extendTheChange What to do for your health if you sit all day behind your desk? Home office is what tigers like most but your back won't be grateful. And your belly WILL instead :-) Personally, I don't like gym. I just don't. Regarding to a foot failure I am not able to do jogging. I am not a fan of bicycles as well. Enough of sitting! So I just... go for a walk. Don't get me wrong. You can go for a walk, and go for a WALK. When you talk to someone and say that you like going for a walk, the person looks at you with a bit of mercy in the eyes, because she or he imagines the pair of old people walking gently and dignified arm in arm. No, no, no I don't mean this type of walk. 10-12 km in 90 mins? Yes, this type of walk. Believe me, if you go for a WALK (instead of walk) after your workday (or in the middle of), you won't have any problems regarding to sedentary lifestyle. Additional benefit about being used to going for a walk everyday may be observable during your holidays. You come to a new place and after few days you know the neighborhood almost as your own pocket. And may discover places that are not present in tourist guides... P.S. My longest WALK exceeded 43km. Gonna beat me...?
