It's been a hot minute I know. Life for you has changed drastically. But in positive ways. I went through some things I don't want to rehash because if you don't know me personally, you don't need to. That being said, I've been making music again. Which feels better to me now than it ever has. Still producing, looking for that one diamond in the rough. I actually have found mine, I'm smitten with her music. Of course those that know me, know I work with mainly rappers, and she is no different but at the same time., I don't usually feel this type of way about somebodies music, and it took me months of just trying to be chill with her on social to finally get in to where we talk, I'm doing a 'jrz' version of one of her tracks, which is just my way of saying that I hit it was 808 the way some southerners hit their food with Tony's. But we've started to build a rapport and I feel very optimistic. I did what I said I would always do and did 'technically' start my label. So Villainous Entertainment. And I produce under my initials now as to separate my mind from the things that almost made me give up completely, on music and on life. But enough that. I've been dropping singles through Symphonic and somehow I managed to catch the ears of a web3 music magazine and marketplace called Public Pressure (based of out London) and they're free to sign up with and they have a weekly IG Livestream so it's free promo if you pass their onboarding process. Which obviously I did or I wouldn't mention it, but it's worth a look. You can release straight tracks or you can do NFT music pieces, which for the crypto minded, you know what I'm saying. For those who don't, its the future, get in. OR actually don't listen to me about any advice. This leads me to my final point. If anyone has any friends, co-workers, whatever, who are musical and motivated, I am trying to put something real together with what I'm doing. Or even anyone who just wants to do something to say they did it. If you know me, the only thing you can count on is that my love for music is more important to me than anything so I want my 'label' really just be a launchpad for younger artists to grow and people that have experiences to help them along, teach them a thing or two and then take them to court when they sign contracts. Nah, another joke yous won't even get if you don't personally know me. Hmu if you want to make some music ( I know one dude probably hates me now and i'd be surprised if he was stilll on my list, but I apologize and we can still collab if you want to...) Nah I only joke cause to me I have to joke to remind myself I chose to screw my life up but I just want to make music. And in case you wanna hear what I've written lately. Or contact me off of here. https://linktr.ee/o_sja_g

In this vast playlist ecosystem created by Spotify, there are different kinds of playlists, some good and some bad. In our latest blog article, we have tried to answer a few questions: What is a fake Spotify playlist? Why is it important to recognize one? How to identify a fake Spotify playlist? Why should you avoid them? Our final thoughts Read our full article to learn more: https://lnkd.in/gF9etVz8

After reading numerous articles and watching many videos, I realized that all the recommended strategies are somehow related to a single strategy. It's not a secret; it’s just often overlooked. Who is your tribe? 🤔 When it comes to finding new fans for your music, it's NOT about going for the lowest common denominator or following trends. It's about making incredible, remarkable music that's true to YOU. It's about finding your first 1,000 TRUE fans and giving them multiple ways to discover and share your authentic art. Today - no matter what type of music you do or how fringe it is - there's a corner of the DSPs, the internet, and the socials for you where that tribe lives. Whether you're into darkwave hip-hop goth, polka country, or a sound reminiscent of the 80s Sunset Strip-meets-trap, lean into your unique calling. So... Who is your tribe? And how are you connecting with them through your authentic music? Lastly, can your digital voice and what you're posting on the socials be as authentic, fringe, unique, and original as your music?! #Music #MusicBusiness #MusicIndustry #MusicMarketing #Superfans
