Need better leads that close? Google Quality Score is a diagnostic tool that helps search advertisers understand how well their ads compare to other advertisers. It's measured on a scale of 1–10 and is based on historical impressions for exact searches of a keyword. A higher Quality Score means that an ad and landing page are more relevant and useful to someone searching for that keyword. Google Ads quality score is a factor that determines whether an ad appears in a user search and drives its rank. The quality score is calculated by assigning weights to three factors: click-through rate (CTR), ad relevance, and landing page experience. The weights are 50% for CTR, 30% for ad relevance, and 20% for landing page experience. The quality score is then calculated by applying the weights and finding the weighted average. For example, if the CTR is 0.10, ad relevance is 0.80, and landing page experience is 0.90, the quality score would be 0.68. If you're starting an ad campaign, where should you drive that traffic? My answer: To a Landing Page hosted on your website. There's a strong debate about this. Some say: - To your homepage. - To a specific page on your website. I prefer to direct it to an opt-in/Landing Page hosted on your website. And here's why. Ad campaigns are expensive (and they'll get more expensive). You have to make the most of that money. If you just send them to your homepage and they don't convert = You lost that lead. But if you send them to an opt-in, and they give you their name and email = You can convert them using email marketing. Well-used advertising is an incredible tool for generating revenue. But you have to plan everything in great detail. Do you like using ads? Or do you have reservations about it? PS: Don't run ads on LinkedIn.
