The untold side of Influencer Marketing 🤫 It's not about conversions, it's all about relationships For years, I've chased conversions in influencer campaigns. Clicks, leads, sign-ups – the holy grail of ROI. But over the years, I have realised (from experience of course) that influencers value relationships just as much as I value the ROI. Sure, performance matters. But what happens after the campaign? Did you forget the human behind the content? Here's my secret weapon: always send performance reports. Even after a low-performing campaign, a simple gesture fosters goodwill. The influencer needs closure too. If you work with Influencers and understand relationships, you'll know that Influencers rarely offer free second chances unless they value the partnership. That's the power of relationship-building – it goes beyond transactions (that's what I call a one-off Collab). Early on, I shifted my focus. Forget one-off Collab's. I prefer to only build a series of content, together. Because true influence comes from connection, not just conversions.
