How do you measure success? To me success is about building long term relations with like-minded to exchange ideas, experience and skills. My own learning curve is still steep which I'm always reminded of when attending conferences learning from other professionals. I really miss Madrid and the #UIIN conference and can't wait to join next year to build new lasting relations! 🌏 Exciting insights from MSCAdvocacy’s mission to Japan! In October 2024, MSCAdvocacy embarked on a transformative mission to Japan, focused on enhancing research mobility between the European Union and Japan. We engaged with university research administrators from both public and private institutions, as well as key stakeholders promoting the #MarieSkłodowskaCurieActions (#MSCA). 🤝 We had fruitful discussions with: ▶ EURAXESS Japan ▶ 駐日欧州連合代表部 • Delegation of the European Union to Japan ▶ National Contact Point (NCP) Japan ▶ Chairs of the newly formed MCAA Japan Chapter These conversations provided valuable insights into the implementation of MSCA within Japanese higher education institutions, revealing existing barriers, challenges, and exciting opportunities for collaboration. The mission culminated at #ScienceAgora 2024, Japan’s largest science communication event, showcasing successful EU-Japan partnerships under Horizon Europe, further emphasising the potential for collaborative research endeavours. 🚀 The insights gained during the mission underscored the significance of collaboration and effective communication in boosting MSCA participation in Japan. Looking ahead, MSCAdvocacy is committed to building on these connections and fostering greater engagement between European and Japanese research communities. #ResearchMobility #MSCActions #HorizonEurope
