Last week, The IN Group had the honour of hosting the inspiring Maggie Alphonsi MBE at our offices for an unforgettable TIG Talk session on High Performance and Finding Purpose in Your Role. Maggie captivated the room with powerful stories from her career, sharing valuable insights on leadership, resilience, adaptability, and breaking barriers. She spoke candidly about navigating media criticism, overcoming challenges, and the strategies that have fuelled her remarkable journey—leaving us with a fresh perspective on thriving under pressure. The session wasn’t just about listening—it was about reflection and engagement. Maggie encouraged us to look inward, to explore our own motivations, strengths, and the positive impact we have on others. Key Takeaways from Maggie’s Session: ✔ Celebrate together—Wins, losses, and aspirations are all part of the journey. ✔ Adapt your goals—Every detour is an opportunity to learn and grow. ✔ Push your limits—Challenges bring transformation. Embrace them. ✔ Ask "Why?"—Understanding motivations is key to connection and growth. A huge thank you to Maggie Alphonsi MBE for her wisdom, inspiration and the energy you brought to the room, and to Lewis Douglas, Charlie Noble, Debbie Harrington Assoc CIPD MLPI, Naomi Hamilton, Amrisha Singh, and Lilly McGann for organising such an impactful TIG Talk.

Summary: There are no barriers you can't overcome Last night I took part in a new format podcast where the host Joshua Tyler Berglan asked me 21 rapid-fire questions to unmask my humanity. Joshua had chosen this format to make it more engaging but also because he recently got afflicted with tremors and finds it challenging to form long sentences without the tremors interrupting him. The condition itself got so bad that we had to postpone the interview multiple times and I wasn't sure it would go ahead, so I was relieved when we could do it. I was honoured to be his first guest and he did not go easy on me with some of the most amazing questions I've heard in a long time. We had such a laugh doing it that we managed to get through the whole 21 questions in under an hour with so much fun. Joshua will be releasing the answers a couple of questions at a time so it gives me great pleasure to bring you question 1 & 2. Enjoy the engaging format and let me know what you think of my answers #effectiveness #StartupLife #SmallBusinessOwner #PositivePalestinian #podcast #interview #tremors
