As I work to aid Charitable children institutions in transitioning towards family and community care, I often come across organizations dealing with children aging out of the care system. These children often lack independent living skills and encounter numerous obstacles, sometimes without supportive community networks. It's disheartening that they have to leave the system without the support and love of a family. Facilitating the search for suitable families for these children is crucial in ensuring their continued growth and well-being beyond institutional care. #carereform #familycare

Your insight underscores a critical aspect of child welfare. Transitioning children out of institutional care into family and community settings is essential, but it's equally vital to provide ongoing support for those aging out of the system. These young individuals face unique challenges as they navigate adulthood without the safety net of a family. Facilitating connections with supportive families and communities can greatly enhance their prospects for success and well-being. It's a reminder of the importance of holistic care that extends beyond institutional boundaries to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive. Great message, Alice Muthua.
