6dI highly recommend reaching out to your local NIST-MEP center and asking the consulting experts about TWI-JI (Training Within Industry - Job Instruction). It's a proven training method to help with the transfer of 'tribal knowledge' to new employees to a job function or new skill, with it's success dating back to WWII (remember the image of 'Rosie the Riveter', representing the success of women entering the manufacturing industry to aid in production....TWI-JI was the training mechanism used).
