Yes to this! Landing a job is all about networking effectively. But don't be discouraged if you don't get a response from everyone you reach out to. Recruiters especially and hiring managers get inundated with messages daily. We don't always see all of our inmails, which is why it's imperative to reach out to a variety of people.

Great advice! I had been networking into Disney for several years through various ways so when I was looking post-layoff last year I was able to leverage that network to land a great role! I had built relationships at all levels of the organization and was able to use that awareness of my brand to build trust that I was the right hire.
