Summer tried to cool us down with 11°C, today, but the #Alteryx FS Forum hosted by HSBC brought the heat!
We not only discussed #Alteryx use cases but also delved into scaling up transformations and the broader implications of AI.
Thank you, Trevor Schulze for presentation and facilitating discussions within our group. We covered a lot of ground, but here are the key takeaways I had in mind while hitting the ball on the court right after:
1. Modeling Matters: Exploring the differentiators between using a foundation #LLM versus orchestrated persona/use case customised models is crucial. Understanding the cost implications and aligning them with the purpose and objectives of the organisation can lead to more effective decision-making in your AI initiatives.
2. Executive Sponsorship: CEOs and CFOs should spearhead digital transformation, with support from CTOs and CDOs, rather than the other way around. However, it's imperative that their lieutenants also champion this change. A united front from leadership is key to driving organisational evolution. If the cascade effect, akin to a domino effect, isn't taking place, it's crucial to revisit how change is cascaded and ensure clear ownership and accountability.
3. Outsourcing: Copilot Redefining Support: #Copilot-infused applications will revolutionise #outsourcing models by empowering even the least tech-savvy individuals to tackle complex tasks with ease. This should certainly reshape how organisations approach support and outsourcing.
4. Digital Data Dynamism: Virtual assistant chat logs are proving invaluable in legal proceedings, even during divorce cases. Who knew AI conversations could end up as evidence in a divorce court? Seems like even our virtual pals can be deposed for their insights!
