Many times I'm convinced that it's very cool to have the skill of storytelling, it will help both in a job interview, in presenting your idea and design. Among other things, it's good for the brain and helps not only in the writing profession. After all, in any business you need to emphasize the story of creating a unique brand to make it successful and profitable. One of the key thoughts of Miller's book «The Storybrand Method» is that every brand should have a story. A story in which the consumer is the hero, the brand is his helper, and the product or service is the tool that helps him achieve his goal. And I want to share with you one quote from the book that I agree with 100%: «One of the most powerful tools you have in business is your story»

This question is a wonderful way to set the stage for your interview. Your communication, personality, energy, knowledge, and engagement will simultaneously work together. 1. Before the interview, study your personal brand. What are your strengths and/or achievements? What are you known for? What is pragmatic and dynamic about you? 2. Create several personal brand statements together and practice them. 3. Be sure to include something unique and authentic about yourself. Tie it to your brand. 4. Practice to make it comfortable for you. Be prepared for questions that will open up your introduction. 5. The more authentic you are the better. *Need help identifying your personal brand? Too often, people get stuck on what is written in front of them and they forget to look for the story behind the résumé which reveals so much more about a candidate. 1-Ask: Why did you take on a particular path? 2-Get to the real reason why they are leaving. 3-Consider what kind of person thrived in this position in the past. When you look beyond the resume you will discover an interesting “story” and that’s often where the best insights lie. #interviewtips #interview #storytelling

Just had someone send me a book pitch (you pretend you're writing a book, but it's just a sales call). It's a unique pitch in that not many people use it. The reason why is it doesn't work. I am writing a book, so I've asked for interviews. The people who say yes are the best. They don't need you. You need their ideas. It was incredibly helpful for the book (and thank you to anyone who helped). But as a pure pitch, you get the wrong people, and they see through the lie. Not a great start to a relationship. #badmarketing

How to Deliver a Memorable Media Interview One of entrepreneurs and leaders’ biggest mistakes when engaging with the media is failing to have a clear, focused message. Have you ever listened to someone on a TV or radio show who danced around a question without answering it? It leaves a lasting impression—and not the good kind. Landing a big interview with a major media outlet is a golden opportunity to build your brand, but failing to prepare or giving unclear responses can backfire. Preparation is key if you want to maximize every media opportunity. Here are three essential tips to ensure your next interview is impactful: ➡️ Clarify Your Core Message: Know what you want the audience to remember about you and your business. ➡️ Don’t Wing It: Even if you’re an expert in your field, improvising rarely works. Review your key points to ensure your delivery is smooth and professional. ➡️ Focus on Three Key Takeaways: Stick to three main points that reinforce your message. Overloading your audience with too much information can dilute your impact. If you’re ready, media interviews can be a game-changer for your business. Approach each opportunity with clarity, confidence, and preparation to leave a lasting impression. What’s the one message you want your audience to remember about you or your brand after your next media interview? #MediaMastery #InterviewTips #BrandMessaging #PublicityStrategy #MediaSuccess #Entrepreneurship #SalesStrategy #ReputationManagement #BusinessGrowth #StorytellingForSuccess

I’ve read many books, but this one truly transformed my understanding of value: (And it offers insights you won’t find anywhere else.) → To Sell is Human by Daniel H. Pink Here’s how it changed my perspective and what I learned: ➡️ We're All in Sales: Whether you're in a traditional sales role or not, we’re all constantly selling—ideas, solutions, ourselves. Understanding this shifts how you position your value in any interaction. ➡️ Attunement: The book taught me the power of empathy in selling—understanding others' perspectives is key to positioning yourself in a way that resonates with your audience. ➡️ Clarity Over Information: People don’t need more information—they need clarity. Simplifying your message and focusing on the problem you solve helps you communicate value more effectively. ➡️ Pitch Perfect: The way you pitch yourself matters. This book showed me how to craft short, memorable, and compelling pitches in a job interview or networking conversation. Master these principles → and you’ll become better at communicating and positioning your unique value in both personal and professional life. #Communication #SuccessMindset
