Dear Recruiters and Hiring Managers - I have a couple of thoughts that might help you review and analyze the deluge of candidates that you're currently receiving. When you write your job description, add a priority level of 1-10 beside each task and required skills so I know how to highlight the elements that you absolutely need. Often roles want a unicorn, but every requirement can't be the highest priority (tech loves to do this in general) and I am often left guessing if a role is leaning towards the technical side or business side, so it's hard to analyze if I am truly a good fit and what I should highlight for you. Also, perhaps consider including a problem statement to indicate what this role is helping solve (i.e. This Manager role primary focus is to manage a portfolio of products but to also ensure that we're building cohesive and positive connections across the business and pull together teams to help build a vision). <-- In this case, I may not need to be the best Product Manager in the world and know all the answers, but be highly skilled in building teams, robust relationships, and bringing the best of everyone to the table.
