Last week, I had the privilege of moderating a deeply engaging panel discussion at the CII Annual Summit on Technology, Intellectual Property, & Industry-Academia Partnerships. The session, "Driving National Priorities: How the triage of Industry, Academia, and Government can Solve Societal Challenges Together," was a powerful reminder of what’s possible when diverse strengths come together with a shared purpose. As knowledge partners for the event, we at PwC India joined hands with CII forum members to contribute two impactful publications. Released during the inaugural session, these papers are a testament to the spirit of collaboration and our collective commitment to driving scalable solutions that truly make a difference. It’s always inspiring to be a part of such conversations, witnessing the potential of partnerships to solve complex challenges and create a more inclusive, sustainable future. Grateful to contribute to this journey. #CII #PwCIndia #Collaboration #SustainableGrowth

1dSubject: Concerns About Offer Rejections After Long Waiting Period I would like to address a concern regarding the recent experiences with offer rejections after the interview process. While it's understood that situations can change, it is disheartening to see qualified candidates, who have successfully cleared interviews, receive an offer only to have it rescinded after a prolonged waiting period. This practice, especially when there is a two-month gap between offer release and onboarding, creates significant uncertainty and risks for the candidates. It not only affects their career prospects but also undermines their trust in the process. Talent should always be valued, and while subject knowledge matters, it's crucial to consider the impact of such decisions on individuals' professional journeys. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and that processes can be improved to ensure a more transparent and respectful approach for all involved. #PWC # #RespectCandidates#
