Visiting #Jamshedpur #Campus 40 years after graduating from #XLRI, coinciding with the closing ceremony of #PlatinumJubilee #75Years celebration was indeed a once in a lifetime experience. Meeting old friends, sitting in the classrooms, though very modern ones compared to what we had, same old #BodhiTree, playing #Golf early morning after being up almost all night etc made it a hectic but memorable trip. Interacting with the current students confirmed that the institution is in good hands. The new infrastructure is truly #WorldClass. Thanks to the #Alumni committee #Alcom for hosting us and making it a great trip.

5dWhen you joined XLRI after your graduation from Department of Chemical Engineering and Technology, Panjab University in 1978, you were one of the pioneers who showcased the idea of an Engineer getting trained in Business Management which opened new vistas for us all who followed you....And then you took the next logical though off-beat path of Entrepreneurship and set-up your Unit of Refractory Bricks in Jamshedpur...if my memory serves me right?
