Hear me out… 😬 No one cares about how you can help them if they don’t even know they have a problem. You’re over here shouting: “I can do your admin tasks! I can manage your emails! I can organize your business!”… But here’s the brutal truth: If your ideal clients aren’t even aware they’re drowning in inefficiencies, they’re not going to hire you. 💁🏻♀️ Why? Because you’re not talking about what’s really keeping them up at night. You’re focused on HOW you can help, but they’re still stuck in the “I don’t have a problem” stage. What’s their real problem? Well, it depends on your niche but I can bet that they are overwhelmed, burnt out and losing money because they are DIYing everything. But they can’t see that because no one has shown them the mirror yet. 🪞 By only talking about HOW you can help, you are assuming they already know the problem exists. Only about 5-10% of your ideal clients are problem aware. 🤯 Which means you are leaving money on the table.💸 Here’s how you fix it: 1️⃣ Make them feel the pain 2️⃣ Agitate it 3️⃣ Solve it DO NOT say “I can fix this.” But rather show them the transformation of what happens when THEY take steps to fix it. The bottom line is you need to stop leading with HOW and start showing WHY your clients can’t afford to keep ignoring the real problems holding them back. How I make my clients sigh with relief 😮💨 Like most service providers I have discovery calls with my clients and the purpose is two fold: 1️⃣ To discover their pain points 2️⃣ To see if we are a right fit. Not every client is for me, and I am not always the right fit for every client. This matters! What I do find though is that the majority of my clients have similar pain points. 🪖⛑️🎓 Wearing too many hats- Task overwhelm. They offload all the hats they don’t like wearing- sigh* 😮💨 🤪😜🤯Marketing blows their mind- They know what they need to do but it’s like a mine field they are afraid to explore. Scatter gun approach may have been tested, without success. So we strategise together, set tasks (I do a good chunk) and then we work on them! As a team. Fear is gone, strategies in place and working- sigh* 😮💨 😀⏰😁Having time to create happy customers and work of their service offering- happy customers are repeat customers. I create fully branded worksheets and graphics for presentations or training courses to enhance customer experience and also assist with streamlining communication with clients. Clients are happy and return for more- sigh* 😮💨 ↗️↗️↗️Having a stable and consistent income or flow of clients. Aaaargh that feast or famine cycle! 😳😱 We look at lead generation strategies and create funnels and automations that can help create steady leads. We also run outreach campaigns, email marketing strategies and much more. Action taken to create flowing and consistent steady leads - sigh* 😮💨 These are just a few examples but are the ones that stand out from discovery calls.
