It was super fun to co-host a seminar at the Collective Future conference last week titled “What’s Around the Corner? AI and the future of consumer business over the next two years.” Colin Raney and I had the pleasure of moderating a conversation with luminaries from the New England start-up community about the actual state of consumer-facing AI. The most notable conclusion? Consumers aren’t benefiting in tangible ways from the power of AI as it relates to the big, universal challenges we face daily. AI is a great tool for meal planning and summarizing meetings, but beyond the tools around creative content, it isn’t transforming our lives - yet!! 24 months from now, the world's landscape will be radically different as we start to harness AI to solve problems like adherence that have limited human satisfaction for millennia.
