Everyone’s been dying to know to what we have been cooking and here is a small teaser on to what everyone will get to see on 15th May at the Fashion Tech Week in Dhaka. Months of hardwork, heated discussions, not accepting the status quo, not accepting a sub par experience for users has allowed to create something brilliant. I am super proud what Rishbha Jain, Rishi Raj envisioned, Sandeep Adabala Naman Tiwari Vamshi Kummari Sushmita Tardia built and what Shashank Singh Rajput Namal Kanchana Sasindu Akalanka continuously questioned. It’s because of the stupendous team work we have been able to build Plani8. Because I can’t wait to share what we have in store, if you wish to have an early access to Plani8 please jump on to the following link and we will have someone reach out to you immediately. https://lnkd.in/gW6dkbdx

New look, same name 🥳 In honour of our 10 years anniversary coming up, we decided it was time for a #makeover. With the concept of #techelegance in mind and, as a company founded and lead by #geeks, we decided to play with different graphical codes from the #codingindustry, merging it with a unique elegant font. The 2 dots replacing the letter “i” reinforces Koosmik’s #technological #expertise and #innovation. The upwards facing arrow not only imparts a feeling of height and #growth but also signifies the company’s continuous upward trajectory and pursuit of #excellence. This harmonious blend represents Koosmik’s ability to bridge traditional services with cutting-edge technology. This also highlights the company’s humility, as it acknowledges the importance of staying grounded in its roots while continuously pushing the boundaries of innovation. Want to know more? Beyond the story of AILA - the world's first kitchen and bath product manufactured from an AI generated image, is another story - one that is personal and perhaps more impactful to women [ and men ] everywhere. And that is the fact that AILA was conceptualized in Midjourney by me, an almost 68 year old woman, [ who learned how to use Midjourney on my own because I was interested ] and that the Founder and Creative Director of Thompson, Alejandra Ochoa de Thompson, just designed and created a new collection for her company called PERMANENTE, whose bathtub [ a part of that collection ] won Designers Today's GOLD award. I hope sharing this so publicly will be something that someone somewhere - who may see it - will recognize as THE REAL STORY. You are not too old to understand and learn to use new technologies in exciting new ways. You do not need someone *younger* to explain it to you. You can learn whatever you want to learn. Never ever give up on your dreams. You are NEVER too old to write a new chapter. If #IrisApfel taught us anything, it's THAT. Creating a photobook: Balancing tradition and modernity in the Banjara community through exploration. Through the Yuva Vaani initiative, I was given the chance to discuss my photobook documenting the culture and traditions of the Banjara community. An academic project transformed into a profound exploration of how contemporary technology and progress impact the cultural tapestry of Indian tribes and communities. My perception of the lifestyle of the Banjara tribe living in Bhava Pura Tanda, close to my hometown, changed completely after my recent visit to capture their culture and to know about it. Although I initially believed that modernization could have caused them to become disconnected from their origins, I was impressed by their skill in incorporating modern influences into their deep-rooted traditions. The skill of Kasuti embroidery, inherited over generations, is still proudly practiced. I observed elderly females wearing traditional Lamani clothing, adorned with detailed jewelry, while younger females wore modern attire. Even as Tanda transforms into a contemporary settlement, the essence and heritage of the Banjara community thrive, demonstrating a special fusion of history and modernity. This voyage prompted me to ponder a bigger issue: How can we maintain our customs in a world that is advancing quickly? One important lesson from this experience is that tradition can coexist with modernization. Instead, it has the ability to exist simultaneously with and enhance both the past and the present. The strength of the Banjara community proves this. However, certain elements, like the extensive understanding of tradition. I greatly respected their cultural adaptability, but I also noticed the difficulties they experience in maintaining their heritage. For instance, although traditional arts such as Kasuti remain in existence, the expertise is typically possessed by older individuals, and without ongoing initiatives to transmit it, there is a possibility of it disappearing gradually. It made me understand that conservation involves not only reflecting on history, but also incorporating these customs into contemporary society to ensure their importance for the next generations. This encounter has greatly influenced my comprehension of conserving culture, and I look forward to applying this viewpoint in my future endeavors with Yuva Vaani and beyond. This experience has deeply shaped my understanding of cultural preservation, and I’m excited to share more of it through my photobook on the Banjara community, which I will be presenting soon. Stay tuned for the announcement of the presentation date!
