A key success factor for foreign inbound companies operating in Australia and building a sustainable business is hiring and retaining key employees. This is especially the case for foreign inbound companies which acquire an Australian business and use this as a foundation to "turbocharge" their Australian presence. As business executives and owners operating in Australia will know, however, the labour market in Australia is tight and retaining good people can be complex. From my experience and observation, foreign inbound companies which are successful in Australia give sufficient autonomy to the local Australian operation to independently operate (where it makes commercial sense), thereby allowing it to successfully compete in the local market. These can include matters such as hiring and salary decisions. An additional consideration factor is for the local Australian operation to also be able to make decisions in terms of the type of work undertaken by employees and when it is permitted to engage a contractor / service provider for non-core activities. #Findex #Crowe #Businessinaustralia #Outsourcingaccounting https://lnkd.in/grWm3JH3

What Must Corporations with Branches in Poland Know? International studies indicate that legal changes significantly burden HR departments in multinational organizations, particularly in terms of ensuring compliance with local regulations. Each country has its own set of rules concerning employee rights, notice periods, leave policies and taxes. This necessitates continuous monitoring and close collaboration with legal experts to avoid legal disputes, financial penalties, and reputational damage. Additionally, companies must adjust compensation and benefit packages to meet local standards, taking into account cultural differences, living costs and currency variations. Managing time zone and cultural differences is another challenge that can impact the efficiency of international teams. We also recommend an article guiding HR departments on key considerations when entering global markets. https://lnkd.in/dczw_q3D
