One asked me: What is your leadership model? This is my (leadership) mantra: Ing Ngarso Sung Tulodo Ing Madya Mangun Karso Tut Wuri Handayani A slogan from Ki Hajar Dewantara which is full of meaning. I interpret the slogan as: Those in front should set an example, those in the middle should raise the spirit (and balance) and those in the back should give encouragement (and full support).

Leadership is about people - full stop! If you don't have a passion for people, you have no business leading them. Be in leadership to motivate, inspire and empower others. At the end of the day, looking out for people is the essence of leadership. Greatness is birthed through service. It is not about your title but rather your commitment to care about others. Sadly, many leaders are self-serving and lead by fear rather than being compassionate. If we want employees to feel committed to the organization, we need to show that we respect and value them. The greatest investment that you can make is in people. Agree?

True leadership is when they've empowered you and not manipulate...They inspire. If people think you are great, it must be because you've empowered them and not self. A true leader always enjoys voluntary following. Are you a true leader?

Leadership is not about being perfect. It's about being human. The pursuit of perfection can be paralyzing. Many people believe that leaders have to be flawless. Always making the right decisions & never showing vulnerability. But here's the truth: no one is perfect. Not even the most successful leaders. Perfection is an illusion that only hinders growth & innovation. ✅ Solution: Embrace your imperfections & make them your superpowers. It's through our struggles that we: -learn -grow -become better leaders Let go of the pressure to be perfect. Instead focus on being: -authentic -empathetic -resilient Inspire others by showing them that it's okay to make mistakes. True leadership lies in the ability to learn from them. P.S. Happy Sunday 👋

🚀 Philosophies for Better Leadership🚀 By integrating these philosophies into daily decision-making, leaders can cultivate resilience, authenticity, and a sense of responsibility that not only benefits themselves but also inspires their teams. 1. Stoicism: Stay calm under pressure, focus on what you can control, and let go of what you can't. Cultivate resilience like Marcus Aurelius—it's the key to leading with a clear mind. 2. Existentialism: Embrace freedom and take full responsibility for your choices. Lead authentically and create meaning in your work, just like Sartre taught. Your leadership is your legacy—own it. Great leaders draw from deep philosophies. How are you applying these in your daily decisions?

If individuals on your leadership team aren’t taking initiative, it might be the result of your leadership style. If you're a leader who's achieved success by being a "commander," controlling every detail and ensuring things are done your way (the “right” way), you might find that approach is no longer getting the same results. People want to feel trusted and valued. Micromanaging sends the message, "I don't believe you can handle this without me." Over time, that erodes confidence, creativity, and even the desire to step up. Instead of controlling how something is done, focus on what needs to be achieved. Give clear goals, provide the tools, and then step back. Let them own the method. Leadership success is more about empowerment than control. To get different results, you need to recognize how you can change. Lead yourself before you lead others.

A powerful reminder: leadership isn’t defined by volume, and contribution isn’t measured by how loudly someone speaks. The quietest person in the room may be a deep thinker, refining their ideas before sharing them. They might be an exceptional listener, absorbing perspectives to provide thoughtful insights. We should never mistake silence for passivity or equate loudness with authority. True value comes from substance. Let’s challenge assumptions and recognize that strength comes in many forms—because quality will always outweigh quantity.

True essence of leadership is not to replace the people but make them capable for delivering the results. It is very easy to replace but difficult to develop and cultivate the performance culture. I understand that it will take time but once the person tastes success then results will be stunning and self driven.

A leader needs to be able to pivot during challenges. Leadership reflection This quote emphasizes how people have different perspectives when dealing with challenges. The pessimist complains about the wind, while the optimist believes it will change. However, the leader takes action and adjusts the sails to navigate the changing winds effectively. This demonstrates that authentic leadership involves being proactive and adaptable to overcome obstacles and achieve success.
