Co-founder & CEO @ PartnerGap | All things Affiliate Marketing 🎯 | Consultancy & Management

2016, Berlin, the very first Affiliate World Conferences in Europe - and I was already 4 years in the Affiliate marketing industry. And still, I felt like I knew way too little about it all! What would I do if I had to start my affiliate marketing journey all over again? 💃 First off - who can I learn from, and who can help me understand the industry and its opportunities? Today in Lithuania, we have a strong culture of sharing between businesses (or at least I think we do) - someone in your network can surely offer insights and share general advice or point you in the right direction. Once the basic knowledge is there, I’d dive deep into experimenting, as the only way to actually learn something is by doing - and trying to learn from other's mistakes, going through some of your own, and continuously learning. What's great about affiliate is that it is one of the best marketing models from an investment vs returns standpoint. Hence, you have all the freedom to experiment and see what works for you and optimize. And even after 10 years you will not be able to say that you know everything about Affiliate marketing - as it's always evolving, and that's what I love the most about this industry, What would you tell someone who’s taking their first steps in affiliate marketing?
