There is a wealth of talent when it comes to #internalcomms - so many examples of campaigns, storytelling, channels, teams, individuals, and more. (And if you aren't in internal comms, you see, read and live this in what your colleagues do each and every day!) It's so important to recognise that talent, and that's why I am thrilled to be back to be a judge for this year’s IoIC National Awards (now in their 69th year!). 38 classes across 6 categories - something that everyone can enter, no matter what sector you're in, or if you're the lone communicator or in a team. ...AND unique to the IoIC, all entrants receive a written critique which highlights what the judges really appreciated and suggestions of what might be done to help develop in the future. That's added value right there. ...AND to top it off the #IoICAwards24 dinner is in the iconic Natural History Museum! 3 things I am still thinking about coming out of Insights Association Corporate Researchers Conference. #iaCRC 💭 #storytelling is timeless and powerful. It's not just about telling a story but also listening to understand. It's the emotional connection that fuels demand. 💌 #humancentric business is the future. Let's shift our focus from just delivering more to delivering better. KPIs should include the quality of how we get there, not just the quantity. 🌟 #strategicpartnerships are built on empathy and collaboration. When we work with others – no matter a client, a project team, a cross-functional team members, etc. seek to understand; do a bit of homework to start that dialogue and remain open to honest conversations that can challenge thinking – “the power of one but the force of many”. It was a great event filled with many learning moments and human connection, feeling energized and thoughtful as I head into this next week. #humancentricbusiness #strategicpartnerships #storytelling SKIM #iaCRC
