The Treasure Hunt I still remember the thrill of my childhood treasure hunts. My siblings and I would search high and low, following cryptic clues and hints, until we finally found the hidden treasure. But what if I told you that there's a far greater treasure hunt underway – one that leads to eternal life? In John 5:39, Jesus says, "You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me." The Pharisees and scholars of Jesus' day were meticulous in their study of Scripture, but they missed the treasure right in front of them – Jesus Himself! They were so focused on the words that they overlooked the Word made flesh. Today, we can fall into the same trap. We can become so enamored with studying Scripture that we forget to apply its teachings to our lives. We can become so familiar with the words that we neglect to deepen our relationship with the Word – Jesus Christ. As you read and study Scripture, remember that its ultimate purpose is to point you to Jesus. He is the treasure, the eternal life, and the fulfillment of all God's promises. Don't just study the map; follow it to the Treasure Himself. Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, help me to seek You in the Scriptures and to apply Your teachings to my life. May my study of Your Word lead me deeper into a relationship with You, the Treasure of eternal life. Amen. #engraftedword #engraftedworddevotional #dailydevotional #christiandevotional #godswordfortoday

Be inspired by today's YouVersion Devotional about: 👇🏿👇🏾👇👇🏻 ✝️💡 An Illuminating Light 💡✝️ Imagine trekking through the woods on a pitch-black night with only a lantern or flashlight to guide you. How would you stay on the trail? How would you know where to go? How would you keep from getting lost? The author of Psalm 119 shares some insight: “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” Psalm 119:105 NIV The word of God refers to the written or spoken message of God, the Bible, as well as the message of God revealed in the person of Jesus Christ, often called the Word. God is real. He created you on purpose, and He designed this world with you in mind. So, how can you know who He is, what He’s like, and what He desires from and for you? You can know God, better understand who He’s created you to be, and navigate this increasingly dark world by the light of His Word. The word of God is like a light in your hand, illuminating truths about the story of God, the character of God, and the ways of God. It helps us understand His creation and answer difficult questions or make hard choices. The guidance found in God’s Word is perfect. His story is true. His instructions are trustworthy. His promises will stand. His commands are like beams of light pointing us back to Himself. Now, notice what this verse doesn’t say. It doesn’t say that God’s word is a spotlight exposing to everyone every single thing about your past, present, or future. No, God’s Word is a lamp for your feet and a light on your path. And as you walk with Him, step by step, He will lead you to life. #beblessed #God #TheFather #JesusChrist #HolySpirit #simplistictheology

*THE NEEDED WISDOM* *In this complex world, we all need God's Divine wisdom and guidance more than we ever have before. As you walk in God's divine wisdom, you will surely begin to see a greater measure of victory and good success in your life. Joshua 1:8. The wisdom of men is foolishness before God, and no earthly treasure can compare to the wisdom He gives. James 3:13-18. As valuable as rubies are, the Bible tells us that wisdom is far better and more valuable. Proverbs 8:11 For wisdom is better than rubies, and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it. Even though Solomon was a very wise king whose wisdom came from God, he fell into foolish acts when he deviated from the instructions of the Lord. Believers' faith must not stand in the wisdom of men, because the wisdom of this world will come to naught. The worldly-wise who do not seek the true wisdom of God will lose out at the end of time. Those who are wise today are those who seek Jesus. Have you sought Him? Have you found Him? Worldly wisdom only leads to a regrettable end. Be wise in the Lord and remain blessed in Jesus' name* *Happy New Week*🙏

JESUS QUALITIES IN EVERY INCREASING MEASURES: Our objective is to shift our focus from the mundane daily occurrences to mirroring the teachings of Jesus in our personal and professional spheres. This aim involves listening to His teachings, embracing understanding, and deriving resilience from His unconditional love and forgiveness. Jesus plays a pivotal role in our lives, guiding us to discern between conviction and condemnation, reinforcing the principle that there is no condemnation in Him. The fruits of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness—serve as sources of strength and solace. Prophesying enables communication with God, providing strength and comfort to others. Our identity is rooted in Jesus, and we are considered God's temples, as per 1 Corinthians 3:16 ESV. We seek Jesus' guidance to foster our faith, with a constant reminder that His love surpasses sin and fear. Romans 2:4 NIV highlights God's kindness, steering us away from sin. Lastly, we seek wisdom from Jesus, reflecting James 1:5 ESV's assurance of God's readiness to grant wisdom upon request : Jesus you know the intent of this prayer and quality statement, through the power of the Holy Spirit, make your wisdom and application known. ~ Ah Ha, It’s All About Humility, Love, Wisdom, Trust, & Truth ~ Agur the son of Jakeh declared: “Surely I am more senseless than any man, and I do not have the understanding of mankind. Neither have I learned wisdom, nor do I know the knowledge of the Holy One. Who has ascended into heaven and descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has wrapped the waters in His garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name? And what is His Son’s name? Surely you know! Every word of God is tested; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. Do not add to His words lest He reprove you, and you be proved a liar.” Pr. 30:2-6 “more senseless…Neither…learned”: (Vv.2-3) This is a statement of humility and a recognition of the reality that, apart from divine revelation, there would be no true wisdom at all. This is illustrated in the pursuits of Job and Solomon. Agur [author] was wise because he first admitted what he could not know [God’s wisdom]. As it is written: “Yet we do speak wisdom among those who are mature, a wisdom, however, not of this age nor of the rulers of this age, who are being abolished. But we speak God’s wisdom in a mystery, the wisdom which has been hidden, which God predestined before the ages to our glory, which none of the rulers of this age has understood; for if they had understood it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.” 1Cor. 2:6-8 “knowledge of the Holy One.”: (v.3) Agur knew that he could not gain wisdom through human searching alone. Understanding is here associated with the holiness of God. For it is written: “If anyone thinks that he has known anything, he has not yet known as he ought to know; but if anyone loves God, he has been known by Him.” 1Cor. 8:2-3 Grace, mercy, peace, and love to you all from God our Heavenly Father and the LORD Jesus Christ our Savior.

THE WISE MESSENGER “Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves; be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.” Mathew 10:16 IN JESUS TODAY: Let me first say, we are different, those who are in Christ Jesus are different. Let me explain that. For us who love him, the very mention of His name stops the world! It evokes within us a panting of our heart, the world ceases for that moment until he restarts it again and this is when all becomes new! We are different, we do not follow man’s ways. Yes it is true, we are in this world, but we are not of this world, we do not think as the majority of the world thinks, nor as those that are following the not so wise wisdom of this time, instead we follow the wisdom of God, as we read, “And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in the demonstration of the spirit and of power, that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of man, but in the power of God.” 1Corinthians 2:4, 5 Our faith is in the power of God and we know that His power far exceeds anything that man can do! Now we have been sent out into this world with His power, we are different than others because of Jesus, because of who he is and who we are in him. Now many will try to make us to be ordinary, but we are not! “If any are in Christ Jesus they are new creatures, behold old things are passed away, all things have become new! 2Corinthians 5:17 We are not as ordinary as some would like us to be, and why is it that they would like this? So they do not have to look within their heart and make a decision for Jesus every time that we are in their presence. Notwithstanding the day of decision will come. “He that heareth you, heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me.” Luke 10:16 REFUSE TO BE ORDINARY! 💧💦MORNiNG DEW💦💧 TOPIC: Integrity - An integral virtue for a fruitful life. TEXT: Job 4:6 [6] Doesn’t your life of integrity give you hope? 📘NOTE📘 ✍️ The gospel according to Mathew 5:37 gives a very simple but informative definition of what integrity is, thus 'letting your yes be your yes and your no be your no'. ✍️ In view of that, it is very necessary we only say what we can/will do and only do what we say. ✍️ This necessitate the need to choose our words and actions rightly before we execute them and to stick to our carefully selected words and actions. ✍️ Beloved, nothing can be substituted for your integrity, when you mishandle it. ✍️ The reference scripture is a question which we all need to personally answer. Thus, doesn’t your life of integrity give you hope? ✍️ This question points to the fact that integrity offers a very peculiar advantage of hope for the best to come to anyman who upholds it. ✍️ We serve a God of integrity (Numbers 23:19, "God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?" (KJV) ). ✍️ Therefore let's also endeavor to take good care of our integrity as children of God, because our integrity adds weight and value to our personality as God's very own people and it gives us hope for better future. PRAYER: The Lord bless you and keep you in the name of Jesus Christ.
