Business Intelligence Brain - Data Everywhere This weekend I did some updates to my BI Brain. I've imported some mindmaps of books that I like and plan to build off of them. As the Brain is getting pretty large, I also decided to colour code any branches that are becoming more populated - so it makes it easier to find content areas. If you check it out and see areas you think (or want) more depth on - just let me know. Eventually, every branch (thought) will link to media, learning, or text about the subject area related to it. Life is just a whole bunch of decisions and to ensure you make the right decision, you need all the help you can get! This is a thought that I had when I was 15, and it led me to reading “The Decision Book”. For most of my life, I treated this book like the Bible, referring back to it whenever I had to make a major life decision. These days I know most of the models very well, but I still have all my favourite ones bookmarked as you can see below. 📑 This is part of the reason that I’m so proud that we at ViewersLogic use machine learning to produce decision trees for our clients. We give them insights on how their customers will make purchasing decisions based on our data. You won’t find Decision Trees in the book, however, it’s a brilliant model on predicting human behaviour.
