Blackjack Card Values Explained For the past several weeks I have been writing a series of articles about Casino games, and more specifically about certain bets. These articles are intended primarily for those who are novice players of Casino games, or perhaps casual players who have played the games before, but may not be as familiar with these bets, or how to make them, or what they mean, and why. Even though I have been writing for the gaming industry, and about Casino games for 40 years now, I am still very often asked to explain aspects of Casino games, and how to play them. Especially in recent times, with the popularity of Casino gaming worldwide, as well as online Casino gaming, including here in America. Many players are simply not familiar with these games, or these particular wagers, and I have also often heard that answers to these relatively simple questions are hard to find, even on Internet search. That's because there's so much information available, that it can easily lead to information overload. And, I have also been told, that many times these explanations are just too confusing, or too long. And even when it comes to just understanding the card values in Blackjack. Those of us who are in the gaming industry, or are very familiar with casino games, and card games, can sometimes forget that there are tens of thousands of people turning 18 and 21 each day, and while they may be very much better at video games, and online games, and Tik Tok, and social media in general, perhaps they have never actually thought very much about Casino Games, or Blackjack, or even Playing Cards. And so, to them, this is all very new. And the same perhaps applies to others, who may be familiar with card games, but maybe not so much Casino Blackjack. So, in this series of articles, of which this is the 3rd one, I have tried to simplify answers to these questions in a way in which they can be understood, even by players who may be new to these games, or to these bets. I will post more links to these articles as they become available. I hope you will enjoy them. https://lnkd.in/gV6KmWSV #Casino #Games #Gaming #Bets #Wagers #Explained #Bet #Blackjack #Card #Values #21

Sometimes winning a game of poker comes down to one thing 🃏... playing with the most chips at the table. Even the most talented poker players will tell you, being the “big stack” is a significant advantage—not only can you play out more hands, but your options for 𝘩𝘰𝘸 you win are more plentiful: frequent calls, intimidating bets, even large bluffs. But, what if the rules of poker allowed the person with the most chips to issue themselves more chips, 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦? Well then, why even play: the game’s rigged. That’s how 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗼 / 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗮 minority bondholders felt in 2022. In 2022, a majority of noteholders in 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗼 / 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗮’s bonds amended the secured notes indenture to permit additional priority lien notes to be issued: 𝘣𝘶𝘵 only to them—and then, using the supermajority voting power those notes granted them, stripped the security from the remaining noteholders—in other words, the “big stack” unilaterally issued themselves more chips from other players’ stacks. While a bankruptcy judge found for the aggrieved minority noteholders and invalidated the transaction in mid-2024, the case was not a slam dunk. As a result, in 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲’𝘀 Q1 2023 credit deal, “𝗨𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲” protections were introduced to disregard consents from holders (i) for incremental debt provided by an affiliate of the borrower, (ii) for transactions without a bona fide business purpose, or (iii) for transactions with the purpose of changing voting thresholds. These terms haven’t yet made further advancements into the public credit markets, but are ones to watch—of relevant publicly-filed deals, none included the term in either Q3 ’24 or Q3 ’23. At Noetica, we keep track of Wesco / Incora and other liability management-related terms, benchmarking them against relevant deals to see what’s on-market. Message me if you’d like access to the excel with deal data on Uptier Exchange terms.

If anyone from a land-based casino asks you what is the killer of table games, then show then this short 60 second clip. If they see nothing wrong then kindly inform them they very well could be the issue. New tech, new side bets, new procedures, more flashing lights... the list of must have solutions goes on and on. Maybe 10+ years into the job or 10 minutes. It doesn't matter. Accepting mediocre standards creates a plethora of other issues. The dealer firstly doesn't speak (at all). This makes supervision from a distance impossible. Neither is it clear for the players what is going on. Player tipoffs are a big reason how collusion is discovered. The dealer can't spin, not as it should be anyway. It's a sure way to no-spin the ball out of the wheel but also the dealer can't discreetly vary his spin either. Rather than position in the middle of the dealer area of the table ready to correct any dubious chips on bets, ready to accept or take off late bets whilst focusing on the layout, and listening to the reducing velocity of the ball, the dealer has been trained to move in to the salad area to force him to watch the layout and prevent him from staring into the wheel. A common training practice in the US creating additional problems rather than fix the principle issue at training. The dealer is not aware of the layout number positioning on an empty table so a full game is going to be an ideal distraction for any past poster. Plus the resources are going to be used up dedicating supervision via the floor or CCTV because its not clear what he is going to do next. The dealer holds one hand off the table out of CCTV view but shows cleans hands after pushing chips into the chipper which shows he hasn't understood the principle behind showing clean hands which also then becomes difficult to spot red flags. The last concern it that the dealer is not sure if the a 3rd dozen bet wins or loses on 23 red. Clearing the layout is 3 stages after dollying the number which prepares the dealer for any size of game. Things are done differently in the USA? When this level of training and dealer skills is accepted by training schools and pit management then spending more money around the peripherals of the game are not going to correct it or earn the table more money. #backtobasics

Looking to purchase a new gaming console, or have you upgraded recently and are unsure what to do with your old one? Pre-loved gear is occasionally passed on, but sadly, it often just sits in a cupboard gathering dust. Assuming it's still working or even useful for parts, there's a ready-made market of buyers willing to take it off your hands! By selling it online, you can make some quick cash and contribute to a greener, circular economy—it's a win-win! Selling your console with a CheckMEND certificate helps demonstrate to potential buyers that it's legitimate and doesn't have a negative history, such as being reported lost or stolen. This can help you achieve a better price and a smoother sale. 🔍 Need help finding the serial number to perform a search? It's typically located on the bottom or back of the console or on the original packaging if you still have it. If not, check the system settings in the About information displayed on your screen. 🌟 Top tip: Use up to three identifiers when verifying an item. Beyond serial numbers, consider asset labels, engravings, or even UV marks.
