Did you know that all states don't have full-practice authority for #NursePractitioners? Coming from Maryland, I had just assumed for a long time that all NPs could operate independently. While the majority of states do recognize NPs as full-practice providers, there are still many that have either reduced authority or restricted authority. Allowing NPs full-authority could ease the burden our healthcare system faces and allow more people to receive care.
