This includes launch equipment such as rockets, launch pads, and launch vehicles. The launch management system oversees various pre- and post-launch activities, including satellite assembly, testing, transportation, and launch preparation. Meanwhile, the launch control #system plays a pivotal role during the launch process by orchestrating the control of launch equipment through computer systems, ensuring the successful deployment of satellites into #space. *𝗕𝘆 𝗧𝘆𝗽𝗲: Launch Device, Launch Management System, Launch Control System, Others *𝗕𝘆 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Military, Commercial *𝗕𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, South America, Middle East & Africa *𝗕𝘆 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀: Airbus Defence and Space, ARIANESPACE, Boeing, IAI - Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI - Israel Aerospace Industries), ISISPACE Group, Leonardo, Lockheed Martin, Maxar Technologies, SpaceX, Viasat., Inmarsat, Elbit Systems, BAE Systems #SatelliteLaunch #SpaceTech #LaunchEquipment #LaunchManagement #LaunchControl #SpaceExploration #RocketScience #SatelliteDeployment #SpaceSystems #TechnicalInnovation

When satellite communications go down, there's trouble. Without human operators, satellites are vulnerable to debris or collisions. Enter Auria Space, formally known as Orbit Logic, a Maryland company that secured a Phase III Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR)/Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) contract with the U.S. Air Force. Auria Space's autonomous system enables satellites to operate independently, boosting situational awareness and preventing harm. Currently in testing with the Air Force Research Laboratory, Auria Space aims to bring this cutting-edge tech to both the public and private sectors. Small businesses are reshaping military technology. Check out one of our latest guides highlighting five companies that are transforming the military: https://buff.ly/4doTOLD Ascension Engineering Group, LLC., a Boecore Company La Jolla Logic, LLC, a Boecore Company Planet SatVu #Satellite #Innovation #SBIR #STTR #AutonomousSystems

An interesting read with Aerospace America magazine (AIAA) taking a look at the market potential for High Altitude Pseudo-Satellites (HAPS). Describing pseudo satellites as 'an unblinking eye' 👀 really highlights the value platforms like PHASA-35 can bring when it comes to enduring surveillance. Bob Davidson, CEO Prismatic Ltd. talks about the merits of the PHASA-35 platform being developed in the UK: "Persistence over a chosen location for months at a time enables a pattern of life to be observed, and unlike satellites, our aircraft can be repositioned to other areas of interest.” Read the full article here: http://baes.co/vG1450TlWBt

Over at Aerospace America magazine (AIAA) you can catch my 4000-word longread (well it's long for me!) on the ultralight solar-electric drones aiming to ply the stratosphere, providing broadband connectivity, direct-to-cellphone service with much lower latency than the dark-sky-killing, debris-risking megaconstellations in LEO, and much higher resolution imagery, too. And unlike those satellites they'll allow payload swap-out. I've looked at the potential markets and the emerging solar cell, battery and automated avionics technologies making fixed-wing pseudosatellites possible. One amazing thing: these aircraft will fly in air almost as rarified as that on Mars - hence their scoop-like propellors, which, as you'll see if you have a read, reminded me of the rotors on the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory helo: the Ingenuity Mars helicopter. https://lnkd.in/edB-_sVv
