If you, like me, have been lamenting lately that Nothing Works Anymore, this ux trend report is a great read. ‘We’re shipping new products before they’re even ready. Look at the AI hardware fiasco in 2024, or at all the half-baked AI features in our enterprise products—broken promises everywhere. Products don’t have to be ready for prime time because, over the last decade, we convinced ourselves we got to “fail fast,” “test and learn,” and “lean-UX” our way out of tight timelines.’ #ux #design #techtrends https://trends.uxdesign.cc

Going through the latest UX design trends made me think about where our industry is headed : at a crossroads. 🚏 We’re rushing to ship faster, leaning heavily on data, and sometimes losing sight of what makes UX meaningful—empathy and care for the user. It’s an uncomfortable truth, but one we can address. My take? It’s not about rejecting AI or rapid methodologies—it’s about using them with intention and responsibility. Design still matters, and it’s on us to keep it human, valuable, and impactful. 💗 #UXDesign #DesignTrends #EmpathyInDesign https://lnkd.in/g6A5C9Qt

"The change we’re discussing here is not a revolution, just an evolution. It’s simply a change in how many roles will be needed and what they will entail. “Digital systems, not people, will do much of the craft of (screen-level) interaction design.” Read the full article: The State of UX in 2025, A Love Letter About Change. https://lnkd.in/dGNHrbVG #UX #UXdesigner #AI #Figma #interactiondesign

The authors, Fabricio Teixeira and Caio Braga, argue that UX is becoming increasingly commoditized and automated, with designers having less control over the design process. They also discuss the rise of artificial intelligence (AI) and its impact on UX design. https://lnkd.in/dEpu5q7G

Very insightful article from UX Trends. - How is AI going to shape the future of a designer's job - How we're optimizing our flows to the bone for conversion vs clarity - How design is becoming political in companies - The classic "is design measurable" debate. In my opinon, yes, but... Our human nature doesn't like change, but if we embrace it, there are so many opportunities and so many new tools to explore. AI is not going to replace a great designer, it's just going to give more freedom to explore, be creative and find innovative solutions for the users. https://lnkd.in/dtVHKdAw

“So, as designers, how might we embrace change?” A good starting point for a deeper understanding would be reading this article and reflecting on its highlighted principles. Design is a journey of constant evolution, where growth and adaptation are essential. Measuring change becomes a tool for improvement, allowing us to refine our craft and, when possible, shape that change to become better designers. It’s a cycle of learning, adjusting, and innovating—a process defining design's essence. #design #change #evolution #2025 #designerchanging #UX #ProductDesign

Probably the most accurate and honest view of the much-anticipated yearly trends I've come across so far. An accurate reading of how things are going in between the lines. This article is about the state of UX in 2025 and officially the most beautiful piece of content I've read in 2024. Kudos Fabricio Teixeira Caio Braga #UX #uxtrends

If you've been wondering what's behind the Great UX Design Ice Age of 2024, this deeply insightful article by Fabricio Teixeira of UX Collective is the best high-level overview of what ails the industry right now that I've seen — and what we as designers, who care about the craft and its human-centered objectives, can do to embrace the change and help steer these forces. (It's a pleasure to have one my own writing on Enterprise AI trends included in the links.) https://lnkd.in/g4EHzKUJ

''UX is increasingly a byproduct of business objectives, not the driving force. In many companies, the pursuit of growth is overshadowing the pursuit of meaning. '' https://lnkd.in/dYHSc3-b
