💊 The Delegated Act on Oral Medication was published in the Official Journal on 19 April and will apply from 9 November 2025. Responsible use of antibiotics in Animal Health is crucial in One Health approach, which links human, animal, and environmental health. In vitro diagnostics (IVDs) play a central role there by rapidly and accurately identifying bacterial infections, distinguishing them from viral or other non-bacterial infections that do not require antibiotics.
