As a resume writer, I would use the medals that show skills needed for the job that he/she is applying for. If the person had medals that are not showing skills with the job post, then I would add these medals to the person's LinkedIn but not in their resume. We only have up to 2 pages, and we need to focus on why this person has the right achievements, skills, and qualifications for this job. LinkedIn is much more detailed and can show an entire person's story. Remember that the old objective-based resumes are not popular anymore. This isn't about the person as much as it is about how this person can help the company. Most HR employees take about 10 seconds the first time they look at a person's resume. This means that every line has to show how this person can help the company. #jobs #resume #awards #medals #veteran

I would normally tell people to NOT include medals on your résumé. This one should definitely be on there. What do you folks think about military medals on résumés?

Cpl. Gage Barbieri, a United States Marine Corps automotive maintenance technician, was attending training on the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) at the manufacturer, Oshkosh Defense. During the training, he discovered a critical omission in the maintenance documentation - there were no instructions on how to properly reassemble the JLTV's steering column. Barbieri realized that if the steering column was put back together incorrectly, it could cause the steering to bind up, leaving the vehicle essentially immobilized in a combat situation. This hidden flaw had gone unnoticed by everyone else up to that point. After raising the issue, Oshkosh updated the JLTV maintenance manuals to include clear visual guidelines on proper reassembly. This simple fix cost very little but could have prevented catastrophic failures and potentially saved many lives. The Marine Corps estimates this proactive measure will save over 900,000 man-hours of maintenance labor and $140 million in lifecycle costs for the JLTV fleet. Cpl. Barbieri's attention to detail and commitment to vehicle readiness was recognized with a Meritorious Service Medal. This story highlights the importance of hands-on training, thorough technical reviews, and empowering junior NCOs to identify and resolve critical issues. Barbieri's actions exemplify the Marine Corps values of excellence and professionalism. #MarineCorps #VehicleMaintenance #TechReview #CostSavings #MilitaryLeadership

'The top 20 attributes that make submariners stand out as true professionals' People who have served in a Submarine are a rare breed. They possess a unique skillset which makes them very effective at what they do. The traits I outline below form part of a much wider skillset. But nevertheless they provide a snapshot of what it means to spend a life underwater for long periods of time, and call yourself a Submariner. They encapsulate why everyone who has served in Submarines is proud to have done so, and why they wear their Submarine badge with pride long after they have left the Service. Over the next week, I will unpack each one in turn and show just why these traits are also valuable within the world of civilian employment: 1. They are able to exhibit continual focus and patience, 2. Attention to detail is everything, 3. Trust is the cement that holds everything together - Trust in equipment, training and fellow shipmates, 4. They show 100% commitment to the Mission and its successful completion, 5. They demonstrate supreme mental resilience, 6. They operate with a work hard, play hard mentality, 7. They do not play by the rules, and will do anything to ensure mission success, 8. They have an innate ability to deal with sudden and immediate step changes in pace of activity, when either increasing and decreasing, 9. They are multi-skilled and perform a range of roles outside their specialisation, 10. They have an ability to absorb, collate and process large volumes of information to form 3D situational awareness, 11. Humour always, even when things are very bad, 12. They subjugate their own interests for the good of the team, 13. They are able to compartmentalise their private and work lives, in order to focus on the mission, 14. They have an ability to sleep at 5 minutes notice and seek regain opportunities whenever they are presented. This is because sleep itself is a weapon! 15. Recognition and respect are based on proven capability rather than rank or position, 16. They are extremely aggressive in war-fighting and prosecuting the enemy, 17. They have pride in the Service, the Submarine and the crew, 18. They are never afraid to challenge and ask questions, regardless of the position of the person in the crew, 19. Regardless of their main role, they know their Submarine in and out, from bow to stern, and from port to starboard. They know how to operate the submarine in all modes and to fight it to the limit of its operating envelope, 20. They foster a self-correcting culture which means they are always at the top of their game. And this is why we wear our Submarine badge with pride!

An excellent list of top attributes of a 'Submariner'. All proven, all true. Year in, year out. We don't tend to 'big ourselves up' much, but every Submariner has demonstrated these characteristics. It is the ethos we are raised on, the ethos we mentor into others. Thankyou Steve Strange for sharing this list! 🏴☠️🇬🇧 #leadership #management #royalnavy #mentoring #coaching #submarines

https://lnkd.in/gK3EUUXE *Lockheed Martin Military Field Training* As I prepare to turn in, just before midnight, the corner house behind, top right window and a drone shown above has been beam torturing me all night. What the operator is doing is remotely guiding weaponized antennas that have been setup inside neighboring locations that are parallel to me inside my bedroom using houses on both sides, front and back. The image is of the corner house behind, however, the two next to it are also used. Before he closed the curtains, I could clearly see the Lockheed Martin trainer as well as military personnel sitting before the illuminated weaponized computer system shown in the image. Tonight is focused beams to my head and goal of a possible aneurysm or laser beam slow-cooking resulting in a likely tumor. One of Lockheed Martin's largest enterprises, appropriately named "Skunk Works" is less than a 15 minute drive from my residence. "Skunk Works is an official pseudonym for Lockheed Martin's Advanced Development Programs, formerly called Lockheed Advanced Development Projects. It is responsible for a number of aircraft designs, highly classified research and development programs, and exotic aircraft platforms..." In 2022, Lockheed Martin, an arm's dealer was the world's largest arms-producing and military services company, with arms sales amounting to nearly 60 billion U.S. dollars. When I leave home running errands around town, a huge drone often follows me to and fro. One day I decided to follow it as I headed in the direction of my home and watched it landed on top of this building. As the world's leading systems integrator, Lockheed Martin delivers comprehensive training and logistics solutions to prepare military personnel for the most complex missions. Personnel are trained on Lockheed Martin's innovative weapon systems, showcasing cutting-edge defense technology for modern warfare and security. Under John Norseen's guidance, Lockheed experimentation also focused on Brain Mapping. Biofusion, Norseen, Thought Control As the world's leading systems integrator, Lockheed Martin delivers comprehensive training and logistics solutions to prepare military personnel for the most complex missions. Discover Lockheed Martin's innovative weapon systems, showcasing cutting-edge defense technology for modern warfare and security. Sure, without a doubt, we want our troops trained. The problem is that this program is using the civilian population as human guinea pigs, resulting in reports of great suffering. While I sleep typically, operated from this location is the deadly Sonic Weapon which is also part of Lockheed's training program. Sonic Weapon / Acoustic Weapon which I noticed last night was focused on me after waking around 4:00 am. https://lnkd.in/g3gN7kjQ https://lnkd.in/bM2U3dW
