Today, we kicked off an experiential reporting journey with Francesco Tribuni. To get things rolling, I needed to send a parcel to Francesco. Interestingly, the only carrier offering Parcel Locker to Parcel Locker delivery in Italy (technically a PUDO service) was DPD Eesti. The parcel, classified as size L, was priced at €36.55, with an expected delivery time of 4-6 working days. Did I mention that this was a fragile delivery? Unfortunately, the self-service option didn’t allow for insurance or any additional markings to indicate fragility. So, no pressure DPD Eesti and BRT Corriere Espresso. It's like tracking bird migration – we post updates about the shipment's location, and eventually, we share when and how it arrives at its destination. Yesterday, I shared my experience managing peak seasons in parcel locker networks (link here - https://lnkd.in/dsbQexxn ). One of my key recommendations was to increase capacity ahead of the peak season to stay prepared. I’m thrilled to see that DPD Eesti has recently upgraded my 'home' parcel locker to a new KEBA Group model with expanded capacity. Kudos to DPD Eesti for this proactive move! Follow me and Francesco to get updates about that experiment.

You can win a Jacek Powalka book published by Modern Expo Expo, 'The Ultimate Handbook for Successful Parcel Locker & PUDO Networks,' by forecasting the exact day the parcel will arrive in Italy, Umbria! We will choose the winner between those who predicted the right day.

This is great Andre V., we're like to make a great "delivery" story How long it took to open fill and close the locker with your parcel? It's part of the journey to be told

I would be surprised if DPD offers a "fragile" service! Onus must surely be on the sender to ensure the parcel is adequately packed to survive a fall. That notwithstanding, it's an interesting experiment, and I look forward to further parcel delivery updates!

That’s also a way to get focus on a parcel close to peak; to publicly monitor the progress !
