AWS Learning Day 9 Here are my findings 1) AWS has support for auto scaling which provides the maximum power of the cloud. we can get resources and free them as per requirement and load. 2) There are two types of scaling Horizontal scaling and Vertical scaling 3) Vertical scaling means to increase the size of the machine that is let's say we started with a machine that has 1cpu and 1gb ram and if the load is more than some specified amount then the machine can be upgraded to higher specs that is lets say 4cpu and 8gb ram. there is a limit of the machine to which the vertical scaling can be done in AWS it is 12tb ram 😱 and 448 cpu (my be not absolutely correct ). 4) Horizontal scaling refers to increasing the number of instances as per requirement. initially there can be one instance and as per increase in load automatically the number of instances will be increased as per requirement. 5) The auto scaling is done using auto scaling group and load balancers which I haven't learned yet 😁.

I have started my journey into Amazon Web Services with the completion of the AWS Cloud Practitioner certification. I am poised and eager to leverage the knowledge gained to pursue the AWS Certified Deceloper to develop software solutions for the cloud. 3 Key Takeaways: 1. You only fail if you quit I failed my first attempt at AWS Cloud Practitioner. After 3 months of studying I passed the second time. Never quit. 2. Pnuemonics Utilize pnuemonics to memorize lists of services. For example, there are 9 serverless services that I can be configured to be read as FLEADS4. This pnuemonic stands for Fargate, Lambda, Event Bridge, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, S3, Step Function. 3. AWS.amazon.com Whether you use Udemy, quizlet or Amazon Academy as study resources I stand by the AWS website. Most services have videos that quickly and easily explain them.

After warming up by making some videos on LeetCode discussions, I’m excited to start a new series on Amazon Web Services (AWS)! I’ve used Azure before, but AWS is new for me, and I’m exploring it with the Free Tier. My first video shows how to sign up, and it was fun to make, especially since I didn’t need to create any slides, which usually takes a lot of time. In the next few weeks, I’ll be making videos on S3 buckets, IAM, EC2, Lambda, SageMaker, and more. If you’re interested in learning AWS, feel free to join me for some quality content!
