♕ October is Menopause Awareness Month! ♕
As I prepare to officially launch She’s Gone Mad, I’ve been asked a lot lately, “What is the 5G Method?”
Well, imagine operating at 3G in a 5G signal area—feeling stuck, slow, or unable to function at your full potential. That’s what menopause can feel like for many women, both in their personal lives and at work.
The 5G Method is my way of empowering menopausal women to reconnect with their full bandwidth—unlocking their highest potential by focusing on:
♕ Get REAL
♕ Get RID
♕ Get HEALTHY
♕ Get CLEAR
♕ Get CONNECTED
I’m so excited to GUIDE women, men, partners, managers, and organisations through the 5G Method, to explain, engage, and coach, so everybody thrives during this phase.
She’s Gone Mad is about helping women and the people around them understand menopause as a powerful transition, not a limitation. Because no one should be operating at 3G in a 5G world!

How do you know what's right for you?
Yesterday I listened to a fab talk from ~Shirley Lane~ on the time in both a female and male's life where their hormone levels fluctuate and ultimately drop, causing a whole array of symptoms.
The Menopause.
Or the male version, known as the Andropause.
I highly recommend talking to Shirley if you would like more info on this topic, but one of the things she talked about was getting to know your body to be able to determine the pattern of symptoms and what is right for you.
Shirley also spoke of how she raises awareness of the topic and potential solutions, without having any bias towards one particular way of dealing with it.
And that is because we are all different.
What is right for one person won't be right for another.
And there are so many different possible approaches.
This is so true, not just for the menopause, but for your health and wellbeing generally.
There are so many things you can do to support your health & wellbeing, so how do you know what's right for you?
Well, I would definitely say having some time to check in with yourself is a major factor.
How often do you allow yourself the time and space to check in with how you are and what you need?
Another biggie is knowing what's even available out there. How do you know where to start with finding out what's right for you?
Well, this is exactly the premise behind the Pop-Up Wellness Festivals.
They offer a whole array of practices, information and activities on the day so you can try out something new or stick with what you know and love.
But either way, it offers you the opportunity to check in with where you're at and what you need for you 💖
The next one is on Sunday 30th June and is a Women's Health and Wellbeing theme.
And if the menopause is on your mind, make sure to check out the following workshops:
✨ ~Shirley Lane~ Managing stress and anxiety through the menopause.
✨Denise McGowan Managing your menopause symptoms naturally
✨ Tarn Jones Managing aches and pains through the menopause

Raising awareness of men's and women's menopause/ business support/ speaker/ hypnotherapist/ NLP practitioner/ coach ~ helping men & women with their symptoms
Excellent article! 👏 When considering how workplaces are designed to support women, conversations must include menopause. Almost 50% of the global workforce are women and we have to start being genuinely curious and proactive about how we support wāhine through all stages of their life and career.

Men want to understand menopause too, and not only on International Women’s Day.
I wrote this op ed published by Stuff today because every day I talk to men from all walks of life who want to learn about menopause and say/do the right thing by the women in their lives even if they don’t always know how. Understandably. Many women don’t have the information they need about this stage of life either.
Whenever I’m hosted by an organisation to open up the conversation about menopause, men ask, ‘How can we help?’ so I’ve included my top tips based on my own experience and what other women and men have told me too.
For everyone’s benefit, feel free to like, comment, tag or share 🙏

All women, not just the famous ones, need to keep talking and speaking out about #menopause! Last year I did a very interesting creative test project about this very current subject working with women in #knowsley#merseyside around their lived experience of the menopause. So let's keep encouraging everyone to be part of the conversation. #pauseandplay2023#artsandwellbeing#DYCP
“Everyone’s going to go into menopause at some point or another—why shouldn’t we be talking about it?!”
You don’t have to be a Hollywood star to relate: if you’re a woman in or approaching menopause, there might be some fear, shame, and anxiety surrounding it—naturally! But Naomi Watts is right. All women *will* get there so we need to put the topic on the table sooner rather than later. It’s conversations like these that are going to shift the entire culture around menopause and help society approach it with more understanding and empathy.
Keep it up. Others 👏 are 👏 listening.
Menopause. A word we don't speak about that much and sometimes even take for granted.
But it's real; for some it breezes through and for some it comes like a thousand crashing rocks.
#Share your stories for #awareness.

Beyond the stigma- so little research has been done. Most doctors have zero recommendations for women in Perimenopause or menopause. Imagine being told- yeah your body is changing, you have uncomfortable symptoms, your hormone levels are out of whack- but there is almost nothing they can do. What’s worse- we are stigmatized for showing symptoms. Because of male dominated medical researc, we are almost a century behind in researching many women’s health issues and have seriously made life harder for half the population.
I am lucky that birth control helps with my perimenopausal hormone levels. However extremists in our government are pushing for even birth control to become illegal. Women like myself use it for pain mitigation and hormone adjustment- not strictly for birth control. The ignorance and under attention to women’s health is appalling.
Conversations like the below as well as a push for advanced tech to be applied to women’s health research is encouraging. Philanthropists like Melinda French Gates are making a huge difference in the space- more likeminded efforts please!

Great video, we should talk about menopause more, why is it so taboo. Let’s educate women to not feel so redundant when they reach this stage, let’s help men to understand it more.
Let’s Talk.
We work hard to provide support and education at all levels and to all people about menopause
