Team Building is Dream Building. As a team on Tuesday's we get lunch door dashed to save time. We use this time to sync as a team. Here's what it taught me about B2B Sales: 1. Understand what is a non-negotiable. For some team members lunch on Tuesday's are a non-negotiable. If you try to negotiate non-negotiables you might negotiate yourself into non-success. 2. Camaraderie. Making friends with the people you work with is super important because you never know when they might switch jobs and move from being a co-worker to pipeline. 3. Speed. Door dash is fast. Talk fast, work fast, eat fast, close fast, grow fast. Nobody wants cold food 4. Pictures sell. The right pictures on the Doordash app really helps ease my mind when I am ordering from a fun exotic local place like "Chipotle" or "Panda Express." If you want your deals just as at ease make sure you show them what they will be getting 5. Use technology. Doordash is driven by an App as all productive people should be. I always have my phone on me. My watch reminds me when I am not looking at my phone enough. I tell my phone what I eat. My wife tells me what our weekend plans are through the phone. If we want to be efficient we need to maximize the amount of time an app tells us what to do each day.

Introducing Tobias Pinson✨, a Senior Sales Development Representative here at Versapay. Whether connecting with potential clients, researching new leads, or making cold calls, Tobias brings a dynamic energy to his role. Let’s get to know Tobias👇 Q: What does a typical workday look like for you? “My typical day consists of a lot of prospecting for new clients and engaging them with Versapay's Accounts Receivable (AR) and payment processing solutions. I spend time researching leads, making cold calls, crafting personalized emails, and staying current with Versapay's latest product developments.” Q: What motivates you to come to work every morning? “Being in sales feels like game day every day. There are clear targets for finding, attracting, and closing new business, and I thrive in that competitive environment. What makes Versapay unique is how much they care about their employees, ensuring a refreshing and supportive atmosphere that makes coming to work enjoyable.” Q: What do you do to relax outside of work? “Outside of work, I run a high school girls’ basketball recruiting service, which keeps me busy. I also play in two adult basketball leagues during the week and enjoy disc golf and pickleball on the weekends.” Q: If you could have dinner with any celebrity or historical person, dead or alive, who would it be? “For a celebrity, it would be LeBron James, my all-time favorite player. Historically, I’d love to sit down with Muhammad Ali, Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X, or Robert F. Smith (alive). These men have made an incredible impact, paving the way for people like me in America.” #lifeatversapay

Uberall needs BDR’s to help drive pipeline as we 3x our growth rates and still see so much more opportunity!: 3x North America market 1x UK/Nordic market 1x Italian market 1x French market For the European locations, we do have a hub in Barcelona and you will have an advantage if you are located there, not essential! You’ll be helping drive pipeline in a pod structure with dedicated AE/BDR relationships for hyper targeted outreach. We like to grow from within here at Uberall, 3 of the open positions are scenarios where we have promoted BDRs to AEs - you know, that thing many SaaS MarTech businesses talk about but rarely do. Some experience valued 1-2 years, still not essential if you have the right mindset and drive. https://lnkd.in/erxUQ9MM - apply here - do not depend on my LinkedIn inbox, it will get lost for sure. This is a really exciting entry level opportunity to learn, succeed, and grow - I got my start in SaaS 15 years ago in a similar role thanks to Shane Balcom and it started a career I am extremely grateful for. Politely: I am not looking for support from external recruiters. Sales as an employee is the *worst* because you are basically living in a constant loop of "not enough". Not enough leads, not enough budget and somehow, not enough targets met last month, last quarter, last year even if you have hit all your KPIs! One minute, you are the "rockstar" of your team and the next, they are saying "Can you make double that next month? We are counting on you!" And then, of course, there is the *legendary commission structure* they sold you on during hiring. It is like trying to reach the last laddoo at a crowded wedding buffet. just out of reach, no matter how much you stretch. And don’t even get started on team meetings; they’re basically just creative ways of saying "Why haven’t you closed that deal yet?" 😂 In sales, your reward for a job well done? An even bigger target next time! Now that’s an employee motivation at its finest. 😅 #saleslife

Q - What's the key factor in choosing where to start your SDR career? I LOVE this question as I can recall why I started doing this role. 2008 - Was the first Market Development Manager, EMEA for Bazaarvoice. The role was still very early days (most companies didn't even have outbound SDRs, BDRs etc) and relied on inbound lead generation for new business. So, WHY did I choose Bazaarvoice? Amazing 5* culture, brilliant supportive EMEA colleagues, fantastic leadership team (Brett A. Hurt, Michael Osborne, Brant B., Sam Decker, Justin Crandall), awesome clients globally (literally EVERY leading retailer in all geographies - without doubt, the best environment to be for a SDR in tech/SaaS and absolutely the best 5 years of my working life! My advice - As a new SDR, when you're considering a company, make sure you research thoroughly and understand every part of the business. Look at the leadership team on LinkedIn, follow the company pages and current clients, familiarise yourself with the regional colleagues you'd be alongside. I'm not saying everyone will be as fortunate as I was in landing a role at Bazaarvoice but these types of companies DO still exist and, if you find yourself joining one, it's the best experience you'll ever have as a newbie! PS - Having the global HQ in such a cool place as Austin, TX really helps! 😀 PPS - Yes, that is Stephen Fry keynoting at an early BV London summit... #cultureisking #bazaarvoice #dontstopbelieving #thesdrhub

Why aren’t you getting more product manager interviews? There’s a pattern here folks of the types of roles hiring managers are positing for. I have been posting product manager roles nonstop and figured out one of the reasons you are not getting interviews is that your resume may not (MAY NOT) be tailored for the role, because you “think” you don’t have direct experience. These are the most commonly posted product manager roles and also the industries that are thriving. New urgent product manager opening. It’s Friday people and that only means one thing. Friday is when positions are posted up the most, but nobody is applying even though this is the best time. Hiring managers procrastinate just like you and there is no other time product managers roles are posted on LinkedIn more that Friday night and a little bit Saturday morning.
