The campaign aims to raise awareness of the MedTech industry spotlight the variety of career paths it presents. With the slogan "Where Passion Meets Purpose," the campaign emphasizes how a career in MedTech can positively impact millions of lives worldwide.   🎯 Our focus audience? In 2022, India reported a 3.2% doping failure rate, with 127 out of 4,064 samples testing positive for banned substances, the highest among countries conducting over 2,000 tests. India continues to be a major contributor to global doping violations, especially in endurance sport. Sports pharmacy promotes safe medication and supplement use in athletics. 48% of elite athletes use medications, with 28% reporting side effects. 85% use supplements, with 15-20% contaminated. Sports pharmacists reduce misuse by 35% and improve anti-doping compliance by 25%. The global market reached $5.9 billion in 2022, growing rapidly. Researchers like Dr.Uzma Khan, a Clinical Scientist, specializing in clinical research is actively working in sports pharmacy. being a sportsperson and a clinical researcher, she indentifies the gap regarding safe medication practices in Sports. Her research highlights:   1. She aims to introduce Sport Pharmacy, which is currently lacking in India. 2. Her research focuses on preventing doping and ensuring athletes perform without compromising their integrity. 3. The concept of Sport Pharmacy is in the early stages (TRL 2) in India, marking it as a pioneering initiative. 4. Envisioning education programs to raise awareness on safe medical practices for athletes, coaches, and staff. #Barcelona2045 After an initial session about Cultural Industry at Fundació Conservatori del Liceu, last week we visited Bayer Barcelona Hub. For me, not only an honor to be welcomed by a client with who we share iconic projects, but also to get to know how companies and organizations such as Bayer, Teladoc Health or Hospital del Mar are contributing to make our city a global pole in #LifeSciences #Pharma #Health industry. Some takeouts and food for thought:   -      #Telemedicne can provide equal or better solutions in about 60% of the cases in primary care, as well as contributes to make specialists more accessible in Intensive Care Units. -      As we move towards and aged population and regressive pyramids, #technology will be key in facing the challenges we’ll face very soon. 🆕 The Innomed programme is launched to boost health innovation   Institutions in and around the #CanRutiCampus have come together to develop #Innomed, a programme aimed at sharing skills, knowledge, and resources to boost innovation.   The initiative has recently received a grant from the ITEMAS platform of the Instituto de Salud Carlos III.
