Walking the talk on Climate Finance Was fun to speak to Oriel Morrison of APAC Network at the sidelines of AVPN's Conference 2024. What was the TL;DR? We need increase climate finance by 5x, and direct a greater share of it to Adaptation & Resilience and the Global South. Innovative/Blended finance is key, and to unlock this we need a new public private philanthropic partnership - a PPPP approach. This requires unprecedented collaboration - which is hard...but doable. We are seeing many initiatives, models and vehicles of innovative finance taking shape around the world.
