"I'll just quickly write this blog post." Stop right there. Rushing your content creation is a recipe for disaster. In my years running a content writing company and being a freelancer myself, I've seen how hasty writing leads to: • Weak introductions that fail to hook readers • Poorly structured arguments • Lack of supporting evidence • Missed opportunities for SEO and featured snippets • Typos and grammatical errors Quality content takes time. So, always ensure you: ✔︎ Plan ✔︎ Research ✔︎ Write ✔︎ Edit ✔︎ Optimize Your readers will thank you. And so will your search rankings. How long does it typically take you to craft a blog post? #ContentCreation #BloggingBestPractices

The most common issue I see with blog content is… It’s written like the author/company doesn’t expect anyone to actually READ IT. Short story shorter? There’s no soul in the work. It’s just words on a page, finalised by following a checklist. Sure, your keywords are in all the ‘right’ places. You’ve got short paragraphs and sentences. And you’ve probably done many other things suggested by your writing/editing tools of choice. Yay? Flipside: there’s no logical flow. The writing is bland. The tone is yawn-worthy. You tell ZERO story. You might rank, but you won’t move the needle — even the slightest — on the conversion front. Getting page 1 is just phase 1. Do you factor in what happens next? 👀 #seo #content

Writers, don’t make your readers struggle just to understand you.🤷🏽♀️ We get it—you’re smart😇. But throwing in too many big words and complex ideas is a sure way to lose people. Here are some things to watch out for: ✅Making it hard for readers to find your main point. ✅Trying to sound deep instead of just being clear. ✅Using fancy metaphors that distract from your message. 🌟Bottom line: If people need a dictionary to get through your writing, then you’ve already lost their attention. Simplicity doesn’t mean boring or plain; it means making your message accessible to everyone. When your writing is clear and relatable, it connects with readers on a deeper level. Write for impact, not applause, and you'll keep your audience coming back for more.💯 Seeing my post for the first time? For a long time, I believed my blog posts needed to be 1500-2000 words to be complete. That was my KPI for creating blog posts. So, I'd add fluff & filler words to hit my target. But now, I'm changing my approach. Moving forward, I'll publish high-quality content, no matter the word count. Even if it's just 500 words I'm publishing. What are your thoughts? Does length really matter when writing blog posts? #seo #blogpost #article #contentwriting #blog #publishing

SEOs & Content Writers. Google’s way smarter now—it understands "things" in CONTEXT. So, repeating keywords over and over again makes your content looks like its SEARCH ENGINE FIRST. Establish your main idea EARLY when writing. Google WILL follow your train of thought throughout the article. This is why you need to lead with your STRONGEST POINTS. Google’s given us some hints about what they don’t like: 🚫 Content that’s mainly made to get traffic 🚫 Mass producing articles hoping something ranks 🚫 Summing up what others say without adding anything new 🚫 Writing about trending topics you wouldn’t normally cover 🚫 Writing to hit a specific word count for SEO 🚫 Writing about topics you know nothing about, just for traffic 🚫 Changing dates to make old content look new 🚫 Adding or removing lots of content just to seem "fresh" Remember: If it feels like you’re TRYING TOO HARD, you probably are. Keep it natural and focus on your readers! #SEOtips #ContentStrategy #DigitalMarketing #WriteForReaders

The first thing I do when I get a writing gig. I create a content brief. It is what guides me on what to write and make my writing journey easier. My writing brief usually contains: 📍The topic 📍The goal of the content - what the content should achieve like increasing organic search. 📍The tone - whether analytical or expository. 📍The intent - to educate or inspire etc 📍The way the content will be formatted. 📍The type of images to use and dimensions 📍The word count - no of word for article. 📍Primary keywords and strategic positions to place them throughout the content. 📍Secondary keywords. 📍The outlines of the content - the headings and sub headings. This serves as a guide and it is always useful when you are working on a project with other team member. You can't miss your writing goals when you have a brief. Do you use a brief for your writing❓ #contentwriters #linkedin #writingtips #seo ---------------------------- If you want to get better at writing, follow Eseohe for more writing tips. 4wCompletely, there is no such a thing as "quickly writing a blog" it takes time for research, writing, proofreading etc.
