I've noticed that 98% of company's in the construction game use the same 6 words to try and differentiate themselves... "Collabration" "Innovation" "Honesty" "Committed to safety" "Passion" "Inclusive" If you visited 50 construction industry websites at randon I'm almost certain you'd see these words and phrases scattered thoughout all of them. Here's why that's a problem: 1 - Being collabrative, honest and passionate are table stakes now days and they're not compelling USPs! Clients, employees and subbies expect these things from the people they work with. 2 - Using these bland and generic phrases in an effort to differentiate is doing the complete opposite, because everyone else is saying the same thing!!
