Hi guys, I'm Val Laufenberg from BDO. I hope you're doing well today. I'm here to talk a little bit more about 8020 best practices. What I wanted to cover off on today is change management. This oftentimes is overlooked in my experience as part of an 8020 effort, signs that a change management effort is needed and or needs to be ramped up. Includes comment or sediments such as the following. My leaders are speaking a different language. I don't know where this is. Outgoing or my favorite? I'll just wait it out. This is just another flavor of the day. To combat, or even better yet avoid these types of sediments, I oftentimes recommend three things. The first is ensure there's a connection between your company's vision, it's objectives, and 8020. The exercises shouldn't be disconnected. Secondly, make sure you include 8020 updates as part of your frequent communications to the organization. You can think of this as a drum beat whereby 8020 updates are included in your weekly, monthly and quarterly communications. And lastly, ensure in your communications to the organization in all forms that you connect the why 8020 is better to the organization, why it's better to the human beings in the organization and better. For the departments within the organization. So with that, I wish you all the best on your 8020 journey and we'll catch you next time.
