The good ol' "post-and-pray" recruiting strategy is no longer a reliable way to find talent. Yes, you may get lucky and get a few applicants that come through, however, there needs to be a focus on building a talent pipeline. On average, it takes over 6-8 different touchpoints to get in front of candidates/passive talent for them to respond.
